Comfort Inn Zion, Hurricane

My family and I stayed here three nights during a visit to Zion National Park. I'd have to say our experience was generally positive, but mixed. On the negative side: The towels were thin and the shower’s water pressure was inadequate. The “deluxe” complimentary breakfast was very heavy on carbohydrates – there was no protein or fruit available outside of milk and juice. The hotel as a whole seemed understaffed. On the positive side: The property has indoor corridors, so it’s not as motel-like as many Comfort Inns. It’s also set off from the highway and located at the edge of town, so it’s pretty quiet. There is an 18-hole mini-golf course connected to the hotel; while it’s not terribly well-maintained, it provided us with a pleasant diversion. Our room was clean and spacious enough, and contained a refrigerator and microwave. Finally, the nightly rate was very reasonable. All in all, we had a pleasant stay. If you’re visiting Zion and prefer a more scenic and upscale environment, I'd recommend staying in Springdale. If you’re willing to sacrifice a little convenience for value, this property is worth considering.

Comfort inn Zion offer me a free up grade room, with a kitchen, the room was very clean, staff was very nice, breakfast was great, we enjoyed heated pool and spa

This is one of the less expensive Comfort Inn's but it seems to have all the same elements as the ones that go for $80+ a night. Clean, wireless and more. would recommend - though it is nothing special.

Absolutely awful. Do not spend you money here. The pool is dirty. Linens are like cardbord. Feels like there are bugs in the bed. Front desk service is the worst. They are never around. Can't even get new dinking cups. The vending machines are empty. Too far from Zion, the 35 miles go by slow after awhile. There breakfast is not hot and wouldn't call it deluxe.

The desk clerk was very nice ( actually ended up being a one man show) since the next morning he also maintained the continental breakfast. The overall cleanliness of hotel was below the standard of Comfort Inns. So was the breakfast. This does not seem to be an American owned motel.
