A pretty decent value
My family and I stayed here three nights during a visit to Zion National Park. I'd have to say our experience was generally positive, but mixed.
On the negative side: The towels were thin and the shower’s water pressure was inadequate. The “deluxe” complimentary breakfast was very heavy on carbohydrates – there was no protein or fruit available outside of milk and juice. The hotel as a whole seemed understaffed.
On the positive side: The property has indoor corridors, so it’s not as motel-like as many Comfort Inns. It’s also set off from the highway and located at the edge of town, so it’s pretty quiet. There is an 18-hole mini-golf course connected to the hotel; while it’s not terribly well-maintained, it provided us with a pleasant diversion. Our room was clean and spacious enough, and contained a refrigerator and microwave. Finally, the nightly rate was very reasonable.
All in all, we had a pleasant stay. If you’re visiting Zion and prefer a more scenic and upscale environment, I'd recommend staying in Springdale. If you’re willing to sacrifice a little convenience for value, this property is worth considering.
