2nd visit
By art, 08/26/08
1st stay standard king was very nice -2nd stay we were put in a handicap room that was not user friendly even for a handicapped person. The shower head was so high you could not reach it. The toilet paper was so low and behind you it was difficult to reach. No counter surface for toiletries just a pedestal sink. We had requested a king and received a queen. Not a comfortable stay 2nd time around. We were scheduled for another night but canceled and went to the Best Western which was less expensive and very comfortable..

No real customer service
By DAVIDR, 07/26/08
it was an ok stay, the customer service was lacking. Only two luggage carts for a hotel this size, come on! Staff acting like the could care less. Hard to find location, ok price for the area

do not pay cash
By Paula, 12/29/07
I made a reservation two months in advance from Japan. The person that took the reservation input the wrong month. Thus we had no rooms. We wanted adjoining rooms because we had children. This was our annual secret grandmas trip. We did get two rooms. I paid cash but they insisted that we give a credit card. OK. At the front desk they have several signs that state that if you are not 100 % satisfied your money will be returned. BS. They would not give me my cash back. In Japan there are no checks. Thus a check is not a good thing for me. The service was not good. There was no service. Just an I'm sorry. BEWARE.

Super Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/25/07
We stayed at this Hampton Inn on our way to Palm Springs and had planned to only spend one night, however, we experienced car trouble and had to stay an extra day. The girls at the front desk were truly life savers and helped us get to the proper places to get our car repaired. Cindy Iniguez(?) abd Shawna Cindall should be given a raise for their courtesy and oustanding service to customers. Our room was bright and clean, the bed quite comfortable. We love Hampton's new bedding and mattresses. We liked this Hampton so much that we made arrangements to stay here on our return trip from California to Kansas, which took some switching. Breakfast was delicious, only one complaint, it was very very difficult to find a place to sit at breakfast, so many had to take their food to their rooms and others sat over in a nook by the elevators. Congratulations to management for running such an outstanding motel in Arizona.JSeaton

Great Hotel, Bad Location
By IrisB, 10/18/06
I loved the customer service. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was good also. The only bad part is the train which comes by 24/7 blowing it's loud horn. It was very loud, I can't emphasize that enough! Other then that everything else was great.

Nice Suite
By Amy, 02/13/06
We stayed in a suite during December. The lobby is a nice warm reprieve from the cold with its fireplace and lodge feeling. Our suite was clean and well-appointed with a fully operational kitchen, livingroom, bedroom and bath. We slept 6 comfortably between the pull-out in the livingroom and 2 queen beds in the bedroom. The hot breakfast in the morning was plentiful and yummy! I loved the convenience of the complimentary internet-accessible computer terminals on the second floor. I was able to pay my bills while on the road. I would definitely reccommend this hotel!!

Great Hotel, but...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/22/05
We stayed here several times, based on our first experience. The service is great, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast was good. The problem is the location. Located near a railroad crossing, passing trains piercingly sound their horns 24 hours a day. There's no room in the hotel that is far enough away to give a person who can't sleep in a noisy environment a decent night's sleep. I really wish this hotel were a couple of miles away from the tracks--it would be worth the drive.

poor service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/15/05
My husband wasn't able to log on to the internet ever during our stay. The breakfast was bad: They were out of hot food, no regular coffee until we asked for it, very limited seating which forced us to eat in our rooms. Wait staff spoke very little english so it was difficult to adress problems.
