Comfort Inn, Cleveland

STAYED HERE WHILE AT CLEVELAND CLINIC. EVERYONE VERY HELPFUL. SHUTTLE TO CLINIC A GREAT HELP. WOULD STAY AGAIN IF IN THE AREA. NO COMPLAINTS.

Needed a place to stay while my mom was at Cleveland clinic. Useed hotel for 7 hours out of two days. Staff friendly. It was nice to be able to get up and eat breakfeast and hop on the shuttle at 6:45 am to Clinic also received late check out and did not have to worry about checking out before going to clinic. Will stay again. Room was small but what was needed was shower and a few hours sleep. Clean room

Unfriendly and staff less than accomodating. Three cars were vandalized and robbed in the hotels' parking garage. Not the safest place or the best security around. Pay more to stay closer to the Clinic.

Pillows were to soft, Beds were far too comfortable, Shower water was too hot, carpets were too clean, room was too dark at night, room was too quiet while trying to sleep, tv had too many channels to choose from, air conditioner was to efficiant and it was way to conviently close to downtown. And don't get me started about the price, who the hell do they think they are to charge so little?

Spent a month while my wife was at the Cleveland Clinic, received a free upgrade to a suite due to the extended stay at the Clinic. Room was comfortable and quiet. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The free shuttle to and from the Clinic was very convenient. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed here for about one week due to a Cleveland Clinic visit. We were very pleased. The bed was comfortable. The temperature of the room was easy to maintain at a comfortable level. Also, we found the rooms to be quiet. The hotel has free in-room wireless internet access which worked well. Also, the hotel offers a free breakfast. Generally, I believe that the quality of the free breakfast is less than a Hampton Inn's free breakfast, but it's definitely good enough to eat. Parking is $7.50 per night. The lot is near a homeless services place, but we had no problems. Terminal Tower, the Indians' Stadium, and many other downtown locations are within walking distance. The Cleveland Clinic is a short five-minute ride away. You can't expect a Hilton-quality hotel for this price, but you definitely get your money's worth. We will stay here again if we ever have to come back.

As always, most of the reviews come from chronic complainers. We were very happy with the hotel. Nice, big, clean room w/a king bed for $90. Loved the desk for writing postcards. Parking was no problem. Staff very friendly, and even provided us with free bottled water. Continental breakfast was fresh and healthy, with eggs and fruit as options. A one-mile walk to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, which was perfect for us but may be a bit ambitious for others. The pizza place next door serves late and was the best deal we had on our trip (the special was a large pizza for $5!). Lots of road construction on Euclid Ave and there seem to be a lot of empty storefronts. I hope the businesses re-open when the road is improved, as the neighborhood is quite attractive and interesting. A very pleasant visit!

In July my husband had to have open heart surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. WE were faced with a three week stay for me, and trasportation during his recovery. We are seniors on a fixed income, and we were worried about the costs. The Downtown Cleveland Comfort Inn provided me with a clean, reasonable room, and free shuttle services to and from the Cleveland Clinic, from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM. The Compfort Inn also provided very nice breakfast daily for their guests. It was a healthy breakfast, not just donuts and coffee. Other than the room being a bit musty from age, the hotel was clean. The desk and shuttle staff was super friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Bring Your Own Sheets! The sheets on the pull-out bed were dirty. Upon requesting sheets from the front desk I was told it is too late. Had the ammenities been up to par, the price and the location would have been acceptable.

The hotel was recently renovated. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helful. I had forgotten some items in the room; the hotel staff had put them asside and then mailed them to me! Thanks for your attentiveness!
