Merry Christmas not hardly!!!!!

My son stayed there at the Hampton on Philips lane over Christmas. He was attending the BMX bike race in The Arena by the Airport. He was due to arrive at check in on the 26th of December. He arrived a few hours earlier in the wee hours of the morning. He was very tired from the long drive from Florida so he wanted to try and get into his room a little early. My daughter works for the Hilton Garden Inns in Arlington Virginia. She says that they sometimes charge a half rate for a few hours early arrival. My son was charged a full night. He stayed 4 nights. Also the state of Florida SSA Bike racing Association booked over a hundred rooms for this event weekend. Is this your idea of bluegrass hospitality. To charge a tired traveler a full night on the day after Christmas. Maybe you could have offered a stable with hay for a bed it would have served the same. May your New Year be filled with the idea of serving the people instead of making money.

Not happy!

Anywhere I go I usually stay at the Hampton Inn. I expected the same great customer service at the Louisville Airport Hampton that I get everywhere else. However, upon arrival the front desk people were very sullen and unwelcoming. The beds, (both beds) had sheets that were wrinkled and when the sheets were turned down one bed had what looked like chocolate on the sheets that had been there for a while. When I call the front desk to inform them, the manager said that he had inspected the room earlier. I'm a mother with for bedrooms and I work in a hospital. The sheets had not been changed for days. To top it off the manager would not give me the address of the district or corporate office!

Located right off I-65, South of the city near the airport, and Fairgrounds Expo. Hotel was crowded due to a volleyball event at the Expo center. When first checking in I was assigned a smaller room with King Bed & pull out sofa. I complained becuase we were FOUR adults and a child (and had reserved as such). The manager soon upgraded us to a bigger suite with 2 Dbls and a pullout sofa for the same $109 rate as the other room. We had a great sunset view of Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom and drove about a mile to view Churchhill Downs. Breakfast was $7.95 for a great buffet. There was 24-hr free gourmet coffee bar near the slow elvators. Other features: a very small indoor pool (5 people max enforced), a hot tub, small excercise room, outdoor patio, small indoor bar, and internet access in lobby. Room had fridge, microwave, window A/C, good cable TV and everything worked.
