Conquistador Suites, Fort Walton Beach

We have been coming to the Conquistador for several years now and we still love it. The rates are very reasonable and the location is fantastic. I do agree with the others on the parking issue. I intend to be there this summer!

I loved the personnel, the view, the clean rooms and the location as well as the price. The personnel was very helpful and friendly. the beds were very comfortable and clean. I love the fact that there is a full sized refrigerator.

We have been to the Conquistador on two different occaisions. Very impressed both times. The rates are very reasonable, location is great, everything was clean and well stocked. We got a suite overlokking the beach for an amazingly low price. Stayed three nights for just a little more than one night at another, much less desirable hotel. I would recommend it to anyone, and can't wait to go back. The only problem we had was with parking, if you don't get there early, you might not find a parking space. We were out late one night for dinner, and returned to find the lot jam packed. My husband went inside to report this, and one of the hotel employees immediately came out to move their own car, opening up a spot for us. Don't let the limited parking stop you, this is still a fantastic place to stay!

We enjoyed almost all. Except for the smell of our room. It was cleaned daily , but it had a smell of old furniture that was wet. hopefully we will have a different room when we come back.

it was a great place back in 1975 (my honeymoon) and again in 1978 and again in ..1983..........well you get the idea........ I have never stayed in Destin or panama city and always loved Fort Walton .......What a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the gulf...... The remodeling has been great 2005 Wow!!! most friendly enviroment I have found.

We arrived around 9 am, well before the 3:00 check in time. The receptionist checked and found that a room was available and let us check in early at no extra charge. We were having such a good time, we wanted to stay a couple of extra nights. Again, no problem. And the housekeeping was wonderful: we have a 3 year old who needed to take naps, so housekeeping made it a point to come by early. The bed was very comfortable, the facilities were sparkling clean, and all of the rooms look out over the Gulf. In general, motels, hotels, and condos on and near the Gulf do not permit cancellations "due to weather." They'll only allow a cancellation and refund deposits if there is a mandatory evacuation.

WE STAYED HERE IN JUNE AND IT WAS WONDERFUL! EVERYONE WAS VERY FRIENDLY, IT WAS VERY CLEAN, IT HAD EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED NEAR BY FOR A GREAT STAY! VERY PLEASED! WILL BE BACK SOON!

Our family visited in June 04. Great place to stay, very clean and affordable!!! would love to say there again...

We are young adults who like to have a good time but not be wild about it. Since we are under the age of 25 it is hard to find a place to rent that is on the beach. This place is the best not only can we stay here but they treat us like anyone else even though we are young. We don't want to stay anywhere but here ever again.

GREAT price, place, rooms, fun, pool.......would go back there agian.
