New Victorian Inn & Suites York NE I-80, York

My girls and I stayed 2 nights. I had to email them prior to arriving. Promptly responded - even made accomendations where we could be close to the indoor pool. Pool is not large but clean and well kept. Friendly clerks. Clean rooms. Will use them again.

We were very pleased with the accomodations, staff, breakfast, and cleanliness. We paid less than half of comparable hotels, and everything was great. The rooms have been updated and have refrigerators and microwaves. We will be back.

Upon leaving after staying here one night with my two year-old daughter I didn't appreciate one of the cleaning/laundry maids giving us a dirty look and raising her tone of voice to a yell just because she didn't like small children in the motel lobby. The so-called manager was standing right beside the staff person and denied the rudeness with"I don't think she did anything wrong to you". When I called back later to try to explain my point of view again all I heard was laughing in the background and how she didn't appreciate my behavior either. When I asked for the corporate management phone number, she rudely slammed the phone down in my ear, and did it the next two times I tried to get the number from her. If they didn't do anything wrong then why be so defensive and rude? I had to call one of the other New Victorian motels in Lincoln, NE to get the corporate number. When I spoke to an area manager all I got was a careless unappreciative response about how I am also wrong as the customer. I will NEVER NEVER EVER stay at one of their motels again nor recommend them to friends or family.

i stayed at the new victorian inn for only one night i found a bed bug in my room. if at all posssiable i would recomend that you stay at another hotel. do not stay there if one room has bugs then other rooms have bugs.
