Flamingo Motel, Panama City Beach

Let Me Say if u are going to stay here Do Not do it with children Me & my husband always rent a condo but it was taken for 2days of the vacation that we planed so we stayed here the 2 days BIG MISTAKE First the room was going to be 89.00 a night. We stay across the beach for 89.00 but when we checked in it was not 89.00 it was 120.00 a night Anywhy we checked in about 4.00 there is a party going on here all the time. There is 2 bars on each side of these motel so all night that is all u here is people partying. The shower was not working right so if u take a shower we was standing in water. The tv was messed u in the room so no tv for 2 days PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE IF U HAVE CHILDREN BEWARE OF THE DRUNKS !!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!!!!

The simple exterior gives no hint of the great interior. This was the first time my husband and I stayed there, and got a room in the tower with a mini kitchen. Everything was clean, comfortable, and working perfectly! The staff was always courtious and helpful. The grounds were well-taken care of and free of trash. The pool and access to the beach was always neat and trash-free too. We would recommend this hotel to anyone, and we certainly would return to stay again!

My family stayed at the Flamingo after several years of staying at the Palmetto Inn and Suites. We were very disappointed to find that there is not a "family atmosphere" at this motel. There were lots of drunk people yelling and acting ridiculous. This is something that we have never experienced in our stays at the Palmetto. We could not even go to the pool for all the poor behavior of other guests. The rooms were very clean and the staff was kind, but if you are looking for a family oriented environment, this motel is not the place to stay.

We have stayed here the last 4 years and last year we stayed across the street opposite the beach. We are doing the same thing this year. I would recomend this place to anyone and everyone. The owners are super nice and it is close to some great eating places (shuckums and dusty's crab shack).I have two kids and it is a great place for the family.

This is the only place we stay when we go to the beach. Great location, friendly staff and it is always nice and clean and it is within walking distance of some of the restaurants. Gulf World is across the street and you can see the dolphins playing from the balcony. They have 2 pools and your rooms are a short distance to the beach. Never had a bad experience in all the times that we have been there, love it !!!!!

My daughter in law had to evacuate from LA. due to the Gustov hurricane and you took her in. I would stay here just because you didn't gouge her on the price. Thank you a million. Also from the photos it looks very nice. Comforts me to know she is there. Sherry McKee

We have stayed at the Motel in the past, and I plan on returning If you are looking for a 4-5 star hotel/motel drive on by but if you are looking for a place for you and your family to have a nice/relaxing time this is a great place, they don't have all of the amenities as the bigger names but hey you don't go on vacation to stay in your room. For the average working class family this is it, you can get a room with a full kitchen, they have multiple BBQ areas for guest use 2 pools & a hot tub, this place is family owned and operated and oreinted. I love the fact that we are right on the beach with out paying 150+ a night. Likes - location, view, price, staff, was very clean I have no disikes or complaints and only one recommendation it does need some updating and cosmetic repairs

CANNOT SAY THAT I DISLIKED ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE. IF I WAS GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING, I WOULD SAY MAYBE NOT ENOUGH PARKING AGAINST THE BUILDING. BUT EVEN PARKING ACROSS THE STREET WAS NOT MUCH OF A BOTHER. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!!

Actually, I loved the place! I stayed at the BQ room layout on the west side, first level facing the garden. What I liked most is opening the door and ..BAM! There was a pool. Nice garden that gets watered and groomed (not all over grown or dead). I can walk left down the sidewalk though a breezeway and there was the parking lot. I can walk right down the sidewalk and there was a huge deck for sun bathing. Down the stairs, next to the BBQ grills, And I was at the beach. No problems at all. Parking, on the other hand, was a problem from time to time. Sometimes I can get a spot right by the breezeway. Most the time I had to park across the street in BFE. (If you know what I mean). I always had clean towels and a cold fridge. A/C was cold too. As long as there isn't any bugs carrying me away, I'm easy to please. I would recommend this place to anyone!

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday. They gave the housekeeping staff the day off work....yet, we still paid the same amount. I am all for allowing the staff a holiday break, but I think then we should get a further discount (than just "off season pricing" for that day. No internet connection. TV's old.
