Comfort Suites Lincoln, Lincoln

We have four kids and finding a hotel to accomodate that many of us in one room is often a challenge. The Comfort Suites looked like it would work for our road trip from Denver to Minneapolis. The price was reasonable. The rooms were clean and the beds were very nice and comfortable. The pool was sufficient for blowing off steam after many hours in the car. The breakfast had hot and cold items and was also adequate for our needs. This place wasn't anything fancy. Everything was quite basic. But it was clean, comfortable, convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful too.

When I entered the Comfort Suites in Lincoln, there were signs posted in various places proudly proclaiming that the motel was a smoke-free motel, that there were no smoking rooms. After checking in, I went up to my room on the third floor, and when I entered it, could detect the smell of cigarette smoke. I stayed at the motel for two nights, and my room was paid for by my employer. Furthermore, I was not in the room very often. When I checked out, the lady at the front desk asked the customary question: "How was your room?" I told her that it smelled like someone had smoked in it and she said, "Oh yes, the third floor used to be all smoking rooms. I'll make a note of it." SO! If you are bothered by the smell of cigarette smoke, DO NOT take a room on the third floor!!

We reserved 2 doubles and a sleeper and got a king and a sleeper had to really double up since we could not get what we reserved. The noice level was beyond terrible. Guest were running, yelling and playing ball up and down the hallways most the night. Easting area and pool way to small. Shannon Chastain Missouri
