Definitely Stay Away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/26/10
Our tour group (42 of us) made reservations weeks in advance, yet when we showed up they were not ready for us. They said no one told them we were coming. The rooms were very small, the bathroom was small with a toilet and shower, no bathtub. The shower had mold on the walls in numerous places. The shower door leaked and was wobbly. The sink was beside the bedroom. We could hear the footsteps of the people above us but we learned to tune it out. Would never stay there again. The Continental breakfast opened at 6:30 am with cold biscuits, cold gravy, the coffee was warm not even close to hot, used the microwave for both. One of our group had their A/C go out. They requested another room and were told there weren't any extra rooms. When it was pointed out that their parking lot wasn't close to being full they suddenly found another room. This same couple did not get a wake up call the next morning and as a result was an hour late getting up. This is a definite no, no, no do not stay at the Sleep Inn.

Stay Away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/4/08
The hotel was clean but so noisey. We heard every movement made in the entire hotel. The cleaning staff ignored the DO NOT DISTURB sign and kept knocking on the door. Even after we vacated to do running around, the room still never got cleaned even after knocking on the door twice. The beds are horrible and they call that thing laying on the bed a pillow but that is not what I would call it. But anyway Pay the extra and stay next door.

Stay Away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/05
Rude front desk, noisey. You can hear the room above and around, flushing toilets. Housekeeping, unaware of the time change began banging on doors at 7 am sunday morning. Received rude reponse from front desk when I asked them to be quiet. Cheap mattress and pillows. They charge a lot for this motel and it just isn't worth it, don't stay here if you expect to sleep.

noisy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/15/05
The walls are paper thin and all night long it sounded like the floor above would come down on us. We got no sleep. The client who was checking out ahead of me complained of the same. The Guest Service Rep. responded to my letter of compliant by labeling me a "light sleeper" and the hotel "stick built". They would not honor my discount even though they are advertised in my travel club discount book.

TERRIBLE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/05
AVOID! I would avoid this property if you intend to use your room to actually sleep. You do get what you pay for, but no matter what class of hotel you stay in, you expect basic criteria to be met, such as a clean room, quiet at night during sleeping hours, and competent hotel staff. This place failed in all 3 areas. We stayed for 3 nights with the following problems: 1) Occupants of room above stayed up until 4 AM every night, which they are entitled to do. However, hotel is so poorly constructed that we could hear every movement all night (e.g. walking around the room, even could hear them using the toilet). 2) Drunk college kids carrying on in the halls on the 3rd night night until 3 AM. Called the front desk, promises of security action, but no action. Finally, went down to the front desk, clerk says "Oh, yeah, they're so loud, it's really starting to annoy me!" Do I need to explain the incompetency involved here? I had to deal with the kids myself. Clerk also “helpfully” mentioned that they tend to have the problem with noisy kids frequently. 3) Room smelled musty, probably because shower leaked through wall into room. There are several other reasonably priced properties near the Biltmore, e.g. Baymont and Holiday Inn Express right across the street. It is definitely worth a few extra bucks to choose those, trust me.
