Designer Inn & Suites, Toledo

Didn't have much good except for the breakfast wasn't bad. We got just a regular room and were looking to get away for the night. Had 2 guys sitting outside, in lawn chairs with a grill between them yelling up stairs through the window to some girls, directly in front of our window (which didn't close properly). Asked for a new room and got moved upstairs where it smelled of stale beer and a worse mattress and moth eaten curtains in the new room. Went back to the old room and got paperclips from the desk worker to "close" our blinds that way. Also ordered one of there hotel gift baskets. It was much over-priced for food out of the vending machine and nothing homemade or cookies like the basket said it would have. Asked to speak to a manager to get refunded and go home but couldn't speak to anyone and nobody would give us any contact information to get a hold of someone. The front desk lady held on to the basket with us not having eaten anything out of it. Ended up staying to talk to someone so we didn't pay for it and lose out on out money. When we went to bed around 1:30 am we found human feces on our sheets. No housekeeping was available so front desk worker had to come and change our sheets. In the morning the manager (that we were trying to talk to all day on Saturday) was working and told us to talk to her at check out. At breakfast she wouldn't refill orange juice or milk with about half hour left of breakfast because she didn't want to open new containers. Then we went to talk to her and she said she couldn't give us a refund, that we would have to talk to the owners. They were "in church" and wouldn't be back for an hour or so. Had to again give our contact information so they could call us when they got back, which apparently now they were in Wisconsin, not around here. She gave us the basket back saying there was nothing they could do, offered no sympathy or appology for having human feces on the sheets. Still waiting to hear from the owners, as they haven't called and didn't even email us back, left it to another manager to do. Wouldn't recommend this place even to my worst enemy.
