Ramada Limited, Springfield

We stayed at this hotel over the course of a couple of nights... on the first night our car was broken into... it was reported by another guest immediately, but the front desk couldn't be bothered to call police, or even just come and alert us. Over the next few days cleaning up the mess we caught the Management of the hotel in MANY lies. Bottom line, they do nothing about the break-ins that occur on a weekly basis (according to the police when we were reporting ours), and completely look the other way, encouraging the criminals to come back... STAY AWAY. Yes it was our fault that we were tired and stupid and left a valuable in our car... but that doesn't mean that appropriate actions shouldn't be taken when a crime has been committed on your property. And while we weren't expecting money back or anything, when we reported what had happened to the Head Manager, he just kept on saying it wasn't his fault (yes it was, because it was your employees, and we were looking for an apology about the way things were handled, nothing more.) And going to Corporate does nothing, because it is a privately owned hotel; they can't do much. YOU WILL HAVE NO RECOURSE IF YOU STAY THERE!!! BEWARE!!! They so upset me with the way they handled things that even now weeks later (after thinking about it with a calmer mind) I am so upset I am reviewing this hotel in on as many sites as I can find! And avoid the others on this hotel's road, the cops said it happened to all of them. Apparently the person was planning working his way down the line of cars parked in the lot; ours just happened to be first, and he was interrupted.

The pillows were very comfortable. We had a room with the jacuzzi tub. The hotel room looked dated but it was clean. The staff overall was friendly and helpful and allowed us an early check in. The continental breakfast had a variety of items...so my experience was enjoyable.

Staff was very helpful. We had gone out and we needed to change for early "calling hours" for a funeral and the room was not cleaned. We asked if they could get the room ready so that we could change and it was taken care of immediately. Breakfast was good. Front desk very pleasant. We would stay again if in the area.

It was very neat and clean.The staff was very nice.IT WAS A NICE PLACE TO BE WITH YOUR FAMILY.We had a great time in the pool and hot tub. I hope to come back again.

We liked the location, it was close to the city but not in it so it was quiet. The indoor pool was nice. The room was decent and clean. You get what you pay for since this is a more economical hotel.
