First time, last time...

We just stayed there June 2007. No room was under $129.00 when reservations were made by phone, but the guy who checked in next to us got the identical room for $20 less. The rooms, supposedly recently remodeled were very cheap and ugly looking. For a double with sofa bed, there was one tiny sink and separate toilet and shower area was bland and not enough towels and washclothes for two people. The halls were about 100 degrees and the rooms overall, for the price were terrible. The cleaning was terrible. Wet washcloth and towel left on floor in bathroom, did not replace enough towels again for two people, but supposed to have a specific amount or you get charged. Called and told them, but no extra towels brought up. Loud party down the hall, no sign of employees outside the front desk and when we checked out, we had to wait 30 minutes, making us late for a $1,000 training clinic. One pregnant gal at the front desk for the whole hotel that Sunday morning and she was on the phone to her manager. We tried many times to tell her we had to go, but she ignored us and kept talking. Terrible experience. Expensive and total lack of quality and NO service. We have another clinic next June and will NOT even consider this place again. Have stayed in many hotels in many areas and this was more like a discount place than a $129 a night room. No restrauant inside or within walking distance either. Did not feel safe with lack of employees on top of it. Safe in every room, but personal safety wise, that place is a vulnerable for its guest and employees. Very disappointed, considering other hotels we've stayed in own by the same company.
