Just saying awesome does not so justice to our stay at Iberostar cancun... Lobby...AWESOME SERVICE...AWESOME STAFF...AWESOME ( SPECIALLY ADANARI ) FOOD ...AWESOME...(BEING VEGETARIAN THEY WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING) ROOMS...AWESOME...VIEW FROM ALL THE ROOMS AND CLEANNNNN... *WISH they would have CONDITIONER and better ROOM SERVICE menu...*

Well First off, Me and my husband are very glad we didn't take some of these reviews to heart since the place was amazing and others described it as a horrible vacation spot. I am not sure where these other reviewers "acually stayed" but we really could not say one bad thing about this resort. The service was excellent, the workers more than pleasant and accomadating our whole stay. The rooms were always clean. My cousin and sister had the room next to us and they were both picked up everyday by 4pm. While we layed on the beach or by the pool. The food was amazing. Always food everywhere you could bring your plates from the buffet to the hamburger place. (best cheeseburgers ever) . You where able to take your drings all over the resort. No rules or regulations, pure relaxation. Entertainment - REALLY!!! Wow 5 stars for entertainment. All day by the pools, singing dancing, arcobics, games. bingo, vollyball, soccer, the list goes on!!! At night the theater puts on SHOWS for you and of course more drinks..... KARAOKE- 11PM TILL 12PM EVERY NIGHT UPSTAIRS IN SPORTS BAR!!! The STAR friends!!! Jesus, Arturo, ousiz, and many more entertain all day and all night! Clubs- if you wanted to go off the resort which we did, they would take you to a club and stay with you....it was like a las vegas strip! awesome clubs.... Pool bar, a yell out to guirmo, biatrees, and angel for their hard work all day too! Mexico was awesome! would do it again!!! Went to a Sandles resort 5 years ago....and this resort was acually better and trust me the sandles resort was not cheep!!!! wheather was great and we went in feb. their coldest month....83 everyday:) Try this resort and dont let anyone tell you different!

We had a reservation for the Hilton 11/22 to 11/26. Luckily my wife found out online that the hotel had been sold and further the hotel was not going to be open when we expected to stay. Somebody should have contacted us to tell us the hotel was sold. The new owners should have contacted us to tell us the place would be closed. If we had not found out on our own that the place was going to be closed we would have shown up in Cancun with no place to stay.

Me and my family have visited hilton this summer. As i remember it was our best vacation ever!!!! The hotel was perfect. It had so much things to do for kids and adults. The pools were the best. I liked the activities the most. Every day at the pool the workers (at the pool) organized beach volleyball, kayak racing at the pools and more exciting activities. The pools were awesome and my kids used to go to the beach volleyball everyday. The only thing to be careful about is the huge waves in the ocean. My dad went in it and the wave was so powerful that it knocked him underwater and on the sand. There is nothing to worry about cause nothing happened but always have that in mind. The food was delicious and the service was really amazing. I really recommend this hotel to people that look for quite place to rest in.

My family and I have been to Cancun 5 times in the last 6 years and the Hilton Cancun Resort is one of the best hotels around! The staff is very friendly and one can tell that their top priority is your satisfaction. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. It may get a little humid around the lobby area, during the day, but that is to be expected if you are in Cancun...the weather is very humid(but wonderful)! The pools are clean and very well-kept. As for the rooms...clean, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The only problem we had was the location of the hotel. It is far from all the shops, restaurants and clubs. However, if you do not mind sitting on a bus or taxi for long periods of time (20-30min) this will not be a problem for you. I recommend this hotel if you are planning your first trip to Cancun; you will not be disappointed!

Upon first arriving at the hotel, it looked very nice. The hotel itself looks great, and I had booked a VERY NICE suite for my friend and myself. We got to the hotel at 2 pm and were told that we had to wait until 3 pm to check in. We waited and at 3 pm we were told that our room would not be ready for another half hour. They did not offer us a drink or anything for the inconvenience nor did they apologize to us for not having our room ready. We picked up some small things at a grocery store like milk and cereal. We stored the small milk in the 'refreshment center' and went out for the day. When we came back from the beach, the staff had cleaned our room and we noticed that our milk was sitting out on the counter. (we had not left it there) The cleaning staff had taken our milk out of the refreshment center and locked it so that we could not use it. Our milk obviously went bad and we had not even used it yet. When we called to ask why they had taken our milk out and locked it, they were rude and said "The refreshment center is for our use only and if you want us to bring you another one to use for yourself we will gladly charge you for it." They refused to unlock the refreshment center and never apologized for wasting our money on the milk they had ruined. The next day, we had a friend in town who wanted to come to the beach. When we pulled up to the Hilton in a taxi to get out, they said our friend could not come through the hotel to the beach or be on the property and that they would call the police if our friend did not leave immediately. They said that there was NO MANAGER on duty for me to speak to. The next day I went to ask and got conflicting stories as to if I could have a guest over or not. The hotel staff here is VERY RUDE, and the only thing they are interested in at this hotel is money. They charge for every single thing you want to do. Working out is 11$/day, internet is 12$/2 hours min., etc. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again nor at another Hilton. I WOULD STAY AWAY IF I WERE YOU!

My family was just there last month for 8 days...it was our second time at this resort and it was better the second time around. We took our 2 kids with us for our anniversary and stayed in the Villas again...can't beat the free breakfast and cocktails at night. Last time here we ventured out everyday but stayed on the property most of the time this time. The beach was fine...yes there are rocks but the water is beautiful, but the pool is better and our bartender (Williams) was great......we were met with the same smile everyday and we weren''t looking for 4 star eateries ( not with two teenagers ) so the food was fine. We have already begun to clear our schedules for a trip back to the Hilton in 2010.....I highly recommend this hotel, they will not disappoint. We played golf at the course across the street from the hotel and it was beautiful....buy really hot ( July ). Tops for a Luxury Resort at a real affordable price. Go on Hiltons website and book 90 days early for a 30% discount on the rooms

We stayed in the Villas. Received a free breakfast and free drinks at happy hour. We were there five days and the breakfast was the same every day. It could have used a little more varity but it was good. Pool area very nice it was not crowed at all. We were there over Thanksgiving. Don't go if you love to get in the ocean. The beach was nice but there are big rocks everywhere at the waters edge (big disapointment to our children age 13 & 11). Food pricing was not too extreme and the quality of the food is average. The place was good for a short family vacation. Swiming in the ocean the only real dissapointment. Only 15 minutes from airport. Airport was very modern and easy to navigate.

Just got back from our first trip to Cancun and glad we stayed at the Hilton. Great pool area and el Kioska has good food at reasonable (for resorts) prices. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful when we needed anything and a short walk to the Avenue let you catch the bus ( about 6-7 pesos) and go most of where you'd want to go. Looking forward to returning.

This hotel is great nice, big rooms great view's right off bus route making it easy for inexpensive travel which means more money to vacation with. Great value for rates pool very large beach okay not swimmer friendly. Will stay here again no regrets and sorry others had a bad stay its all in what you make it.
