Hampton Inn Durango, Durango

Everything was fine. The hospitality was great. The hostess treated us like family. Gave us lots of advice of eating places and things to do. The breakfast changed slightly every day, but was great no matter what. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had stayed at the Hampton Inn several times before traveling between states to visit family. We had always enjoyed the nice clean rooms, friendly staff, and the chocolate chip cookies! Tired, hungry, and ready to relax....we step into the lobby to smell those cookies, see the fire blazing in the fireplace, and a smile at the desk. We were hooked. It was a given that when my daughter and I decided to celebrate her completion of the first year of college by taking or first road trip without the guys, we would plan to go to Durango Hampton Inn on the way.Dad and brother stayed home, and we traveled across the country, Hampton Inn to Hampton Inn. As always, we felt secure and at home. Even though it was summer this visit...we knew the cookies were baking, and we slipped down to munch a couple, and borrow a deck of cards from the desk. As always...we were not disappointed and had a great trip.

The room was comfortable and the amenities were what you would expect from a Hampton Inn. Breakfast was fine (included with the room) and there was a decent pool and hot tub. Especially in a resort ski area it is nice to have a convenient, reasonably priced place to stay. I would recommend this property during any season.
