Ghetto Village Inn
By mike s, 11/16/09
The bullet proof glass should have been a give away.. We Checked into this place after making reservations on travelocity the price was reasonable and the rooms were not bad.. but the place is outdated. Durring a three hour span of the night our car was intruded and a camera, gps, and hooded sweatshirt were stollen along with some other small items. The staff memeber was very rude in explaining that she had been by the window all night as we had parked right outside the office.. She had claimed that the only people that went into that car all night was us.. And denied us video access.. Very rude staff.. Dirty Exterior, and at 2 am the entire court yard seemed to be a big party, people everywhere and not quite at all..

AVOID! - Didn't Hold My Reservation
By scott, 10/19/09
I reserved a room a month before the Columbus Marathon and received a confirmation number. I called three days before my stay to confirm my reservation and to alert the clerk as to the time of my arrival. I showed up the night before the marathon and was told that I had no room and that I had no reservation. The clerk was very rude and refused to let me speak to a manager or owner. At 10pm the night before my 7am run I was left scrambling trying to find a place to stay. If you book a room don't be surprised to show up and have no room and confirming the room won't help. AVOID!

Overall a Good Value!
By Scott B, 03/12/09
The location of this motel is excellent. Only a few minutes from downtown, it is centered in a quaint historic district. The rooms are clean; however, a little outdated. Plenty of parking, and a courteous enough staff. For the price, it offers a good deal.

College Bound
By college parent, 08/23/07
The Village Inn was affordable, clean and the beds were soft. The AC blows COLD air. Close to CCAD. $10.00 cab fare to the college. Plenty of family restaurant within walking distance. I'd stay there again.

not bad for the price and location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/18/07
It was a decent place to stay for a few nights while visiting family. Not the most amenities, but very affordable and clean. Will stay here again.

OK 4 A SHORT STAY
By OctobersChild, 09/07/05
Well... it said beautifly remodeled. It wasnt. But it was close to where we needed to be, and the parking was free. It worked because a bunch of us went and all stayed in this hotel, while visiting the hair show.
