Enjoyable Stay
By Johnv, 8/16/09
Room was clean, Staff pleasant and helpful and seemed organized. Breakfast bar was more than we expected. Parking good. Motel seemed to be fairly busy but there were plenty of places to park. We stayed on the ground level and the ice machine was out of order. Had to use one on 2nd floor. Room (1 queen bed) was small by most standards. Discount ticket person in lobby was pleasant and helped us secure discounted tickets. But you need to check out the restrictions as this isn't for everyone. Motel location was about average in my opinion. No obvious problems with room and motel being clean. We would go back.

Stay away from this hotel
By Heather M, 7/27/09
We've stayed here several times. They have new managers and staff since the last time. They are the rudest people I've ever dealt with. They won't wear nametags, but I found out his name was Ron. They have a sign for free coffee. My husband got some and it was ice cold. We stood there for several minutes before the front desk clerk would acknowledge us. We made reservations for 3. He handed us the key for a room with 1 queen bed. We told him we have 3 people and there is a mistake. He said rudely, "Can't change it. You rent air mattress ten dollars." We told him we aren't paying for an air mattress since they messed up. We went to look at the room-there wasn't even room for the air mattress. The room was tiny! We called and asked for an extra sheet, blanket and pillow so my husband could sleep on the floor. He brought us one thin blanket...no pillows. He said "that's all we have" and practically threw it. We asked for our money back he rudely said "nope, no refund". We told him we were leaving..there were no apologies nor did he try to fix it. We went and paid $60 for another hotel. We will never stay here again.

We will be going back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/21/09
The rates were great. The location was really good, not far (2 or 3 long blocks) to the strip. There were great discount deals offered in the lobbey, for almost all of the shows in Branson. The staff was nice to us. The breakfast area was clean and the food was good. I wish they had offered some type of breakfast meat, but for a continental breakfast, it was really good, with a large variety. All in all, for an inexpensive hotel, it was a good deal. I have already booked our next stay with this hotel. The Nation family

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/17/08
Went in late drove 7hours told us on the phone they would have us a nonsmoking room we got there we were suppose to hav two away from the street we had one after we went down an had trouble with the very rude staff they don't wear name tags they don't want people to know who they are but the guy I talk to found out was Mike he will remember me & the girl at the desk they got up did'nt want deal with is. We did get a room nonsmoking had to move the next day into a one bedroom all on the street side. I know a lot of people that tour this was truely a mistake you really pay for what you get. So belive me its difinitly a two star. And they need to get rid of their rude employees Vicky Goller.

Would NOT stay here again
By Debra, 9/6/08
Booked two rooms for 5 nights. The price was good but they beds were very uncomfortable. The kids didn't even sleep well. Ended up having to cut our vacation short because they screwed up the reservations and were taking a room away. Kind of hard to put 3 teenagers and two adults into one room with two beds. Would not book here again!

Excellent Rates
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/4/07
I loved the staff. We had a great experience and the location is great. I lived in Branson for 5 years and knew where to look for a hotel's location. This hotel is right in the "middle" of the strip but it is located near so many side roads that the only time we were on the strip was when we wanted to be. The service at the hotel is great and we will go back.

Excellent value and location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/07
Econo Lodge in Branson (on Wildwood Rd.) is a great place to stay while visiting the Branson area. We loved the central location that is close to the "76 strip", but is on an alternate travel route that makes access easy. We could walk to Hwy 76 with all the shows and restaurants. I worked in the hotel business for many years and have an eye for details. I did not see any major problems with this hotel. It was well maintained and updated. The hotel was very clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to answer questions about the Branson area. The breakfast was nice with a good variety of continental type food items. The breakfast area was very clean and the attendants were right on top of things keeping everything filled up and fresh. Our room was the quietest room we have ever had. This hotel is well constructed. The housekeeper was very good and made the room look very nice and clean every day. The room was a good value for the money and provided us with a nice , quite, clean place to stay after a day of shows and sight seeing. "

Decent discount hotel
By C, 7/6/07
Overall it was a good cheap hotel, I was just there on a last minute vacation and wasn't expecting much for what I paid ($48/night), but was pretty satisfied with the room. The room was clean, and the cleaning service replaced towels and stuff the next day. The only thing I didn't care for was that the bed was pretty stiff. Some people like stiff beds though so if you're one, they got 'em. I'm a side sleeper so the stiff bed thing is not so comfortable. Overall though not a bad place for the money and I had no problems with it. The hotel is right on the yellow route... which is handy because you can use that route to hit the opposite ends of HWY 76 and bypass some of the crazy traffic.

A Great Anniversary!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/11/06
My husband and I stayed here for 3 days and we loved it. Our room had a whirlpool bath and it was great. My husband loved the tv. Every place we have ever stayed always had a 19 inch television. The tv was at least a 25 inch television. The Econo Lodge was in a nice, quiet location but still very close to the Branson strip. We loved it and would definitley stay here again. The Econo Lodge also had a very nice continental breakfast with several items to choose from (waffles, cereal, fruit, doughnuts, coffee and 3 different juices. A great place to stay.
