River Inn Resort, Hunt

We loved River Inn! My kids went down the water slide a hundred times...my 12 year old caught a beautiful bass. The kids met other vactioning kids in the game room. The water was so clear and pretty and the dry hill country climate was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this resort.

I Loved the River!!! So beautiful and clear!! It's not like any other river I've ever been to!!There's more though-I was told that every condo is individually owned, so they are all decorated and themed differently!! It was WONDERFUL!! I would definelty say that the rooms are not like ANY average Hotel/Motel room I've ever stayed in!! These are very homey, comfortable, and personable rooms. You feel like you are on vacation in your own little condo by the river. It's ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! I've told all my friends and family! We have had three family reunions and will be attending a Wedding there in the Spring!! It's just Beautiful and Extremely Relaxing!! My kids love it!! They have a water slide that flows into the river, it's one of a kind!! Again my kids as well as all the others you go LOVE IT!!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE RIVER INN TO ANYBODY LOOKING FOR A GREAT RELAXING FAMILY/PERSONAL GETAWAY IN THE HILL COUNTRY!!

I absolutely love this place. My family goes every year with a group from our church, and it is perfect. No hustle and bustle - not even phones or cell service. I especially love the flume and the canoe rides up the river that lead to these great little "sink holes." It is a great place for family get togethers, but be prepared with food and things to do as getting back to town takes some time.

NO PHONES! It's not just NEAR the water, it is right on the banks of the beautiful and clear, spring fed Guadalupe River. Kids love the water, canoes, sliding down the flume. I love just laying on a lawn chair and watching the water flow by. It's 20 miles from town, in the winding hill country. The skys are clear and the nights are cool and quiet. Never slept so good. We will also look forward to our next visit. Leave your fast trac city life behind. It does not belong here.
