Our favorite B&B of all time!
By Paul, 12/10/09
My wife and I have been traveling to Santa Fe (probably at least once a year) for 16 or 17 years. We actually stayed at the Four Kachinas before Walt and Wayne became the proprietors, but only since then have we come to love it as we do. The once or twice we were unable to secure a reservation and had to settle for someplace else has always turned out to be a huge letdown. Five stars is not enough to convey how great this place is - Walt and Wayne are the perfect hosts in every way: in the tastefully decorated, super-clean rooms, in the fantastic breakfasts, in their great recommendations for just about everything - the list goes on and on. Between them, they have an encyclopedic knowledge of everything you might want to do while visiting Santa Fe: hiking, the art scene, the best restaurants, Indian Market, museums, you name it. (They also have an outstanding Pueblo pottery collection!) Hanging out after breakfast and shooting the breeze with them has become an integral part of the Santa Fe experience for us. And above all, the location is perfect. I'm sure there's no other spot in Santa Fe which is so peaceful and serene and also within walking distance of the plaza and all the action. If you want the crowds, noise, and the hustle and bustle you thought you were leaving behind, stay at La Fonda. If you want peace and quiet in impeccable surroundings, go for the Four Kachinas We can't recommend it highly enough.

One Of The Best Weeks Of Our Lives
By joyce, 1/4/09
We came to the Four Kachinas for New Years week with our very good friends. As soon as we got there we were greeted by Wayne (one of the owners) and he immediately showed us all our accommodations, which were wonderful. He then took out a map and pointed out many of the things to see and do in Santa Fe. He answered all of our questions (and there were many). All week we were given wonderful breakfasts and great cookies from afternoon on. The rooms were very clean and furnished in wonderful taste. We later found out that the owners, Wayne and Walt had chosen all of the furniture. The Inn is very well run and if we had any problems (very few) they were taken care of immediately. We were so pleased that we really didn't want to leave and plan to go back and stay with them again.

Fantastic Four Kachinas!!
By William, 11/8/05
I stayed at the Four Kachinas Inn for the first time in September of this year (2005), after staying several times at the owners' other inn, El Farolito (which may be the best B&B in Santa Fe). Every aspect of my visit was a pleasure, from the large, beautifully decorated room to the location, chatting with the owners and the other guests, not to mention the fabulous breakfast served every morning. I will be visiting again in February 2006 and look forward to another stay at Four Kachinas. I can't recommend this inn highly enough. You won't be disappointed!
