St Augustine Island Inn, St Augustine Beach

Went down for a weekend because the weather has been fantastic to ride my Harley. The place is great and close to some great clubs and restaurants and a short ride from the oldest city and Daytona Beach. We rode into Old St. Augustine for some great times at Mardi Gra's and Scarlett Ohara's, and close to the Hotel there was this place called The Oasis, it was rockin. I love this family run place and highly recommend it for my fellow Bikers.....

This hotel is very clean and quiet. The owners are hard-working and will go out of their way to help you. The room was very nice with a large shared balcony that overlooked the pool. The hotel's proximity to St. Augustine Beach bars and restaurants, and Historic Downtown make it a winner in our book. We will be back for sure. Overall, worth the well-worth the money and a place you'll want to return to again and again. A lovely time!

THe rooms were very clean. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Had no complaints. I expected a close beach access, but the walk on the boardwalk was also enjoyable. Saw some unexpected wildlife (deer). Would stay there again

I really like this hotel. They recognize me and my son, even though it was 2 years ago when we last stayed here. I like the pool they have. The couple that own it are very nice. They even told us about the bus that pick us up at the hotel. We purchase a bus pass, and it's good for 3 days. The room has frigerator and a microwave. We drove to Publix to buy food and soda, which is only about a mile away. There is even a beach access on a safe walking path.

If you are looking for a personalized experience, this is the place. My family and I were in St Augustine for a wedding. The owners Steve and Hanna could not have been more accommodating. They were especially helpful caring for my 81 year old mother who needed handicapped accommodations. The St Augustine Island Inn is an older facility, but is clean, safe and reasonably priced. I would not think twice about a second visit.

me and my girls loved staying here..the staff goes out of there way to make you feel welcome..they treated us like family.they gave us directions and cleaned our room so well...♥ they socialized with us like they knew us forever ..he gave us a great deal too..if im back in the area i would stay there again ...just minutes from the beach ...and pool..and the staff is really great!! I even missed them when i left!!♥ i highly recommend anyone to stay here ..you will get way beyond your moneys worth,,,,,,

This was my 4th time staying @ the Island Inn, St. Augustine Beach & again was extremely satisfied. The staff was super friendly & very knowlegeable about the area. The room, pool area & overall hotel property was very clean & well kept. It's a short walk to the beach, shopping & restaurants. The rates are also quite fair. I'm looking forward to coming back for my 5th time next year

Super-clean rooms with a beautiful balcony for lunch.Very friendly people and available.Pool is perfect for couples.All attractions and resturants nearby(Mexican and fish my favorites) Near beach and secluded.I"m going back.

I just wanted to post a "positive" review about the Island Inn in St. Augustine Beach ... The Motel was EMPTY! ( everyone has gone home from summer vacations ) Making this a very very quiet weekend getaway. The room was exactly what we expected .. using a price cutting coupon from one of the Island coupon books ( Thanks ) Room had a nice view . Had the most comfortable bed .... Beautiful Bedding ( sheets , bedspread ) ( towels were a little on the older side ) Ice machine was located only on the 2nd floor ... making it a pain in butt to get fresh ice . The POOL was perfect ! Sparkling clean. Very enjoyable. ( Thanks ) Would highly recommend. I noticed on another review they complained of Moldy damp smell .. It is an older motel .. They seem to try and leave the windows and doors open to get that great ocean cross breeze to help air the rooms out . Very clean. Only major complaint would be that they watch you like a HAWK. Every nook and cranny is monitored . ( uneasy feeling ) Not use to being watched and followed to and from my room ... If you can handle this , this is the motel for everyone . The staff was wonderful and gracious. Our jacuzzi suite was spacious and exactly as shown in photos in online ads. We got a little lost when we missed a turn coming into the area, so I called the Inn for directions and was given perfect instructions (they knew then that we were close, and went to our room and had the AC just right, the frig cool, and our bed was turned down. The building is not a new one, but it is well maintained. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The pool was sparkling. Parking was convenient (and covered). It Inn has a quiet peaceful atmosphere. The staff recommendations for local restaurants were great, as well. We walked to the beach in just a few minutes. We didn't want to leave. We have recommended St Augustine Island Inn to friends and co-workers -- we are looking forward to returning here at our first available long weekend opportunity.
