Will use again
By Brian fom B.C., 1/28/12
Booked a reservation, a severe snow storm in the area restricted road travel, canceled, owner/manager waived the 24 hr. cancelation charge due to an act of God, very good and decent old school decency, not like the faceless big chain motels, which have only corprate unsympathetic rules. Will definitly use again and recomend to all friends and family. Kudos to the Lions Inn for good old fashion buisness practises. This customer was treated right.

We decided to stay for a week
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/29/11
Nothing fancy here, basic accommodations, clean rooms, quiet residential neighborhood, friendly service aimed to please and the manager took time to answer all our questions and help us really learn this beautiful town fast. We 'll tell all our friends, lions inn is a great place to stay in Bellingham, hopefully our future home town.

Falsely advertised
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/28/11
I did not stay here though had intended to after looking at the website and seeing the posted rates and photos. According to the website, the hotel's "largest and best room" was $69. But when I called to book, the person I spoke to said that the cheapest room available was $79, despite what was posted on the website. Further, he seemed rather sarcastic. Found a better room for less money after so am glad this did not work out.

Clean, quiet, safe, excellent value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/11/11
The rooms are quiet, comfortable, safe and very pet friendly. We had our 3 kids, dog and cat and really enjoyed our stay. Elizabeth park is two blocks from the motel. It is a really nice park and you walk through a very quaint neighborhood to get there. For dinner I suggest the Hong Kong Garden two blocks away on Meridian St. Yes, we would stay here again.

Great Place to Stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/22/11
Definitely recommend Lions Inn. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. Also a riot to chat with. He always has something interesting to say or just a friendly "How are things going?". Great location, clean, and comfortable. Prices are very fair. I stay here quite often when I come to Bellingham and have NEVER had a bad experience! Worth it if you're down in Bellingham for the weekend to do some shopping or some sight seeing.

A wonderful experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/5/11
The Lions' Inn Motel is definitely worth a look! The rates were very reasonable, the manager, Nick was very friendly, checked our room to make sure everything was perfect. He keeps the place very clean and quiet. I had an absolutely stress free experience, and would recommend this Motel to everyone.

Horrible & Rude Customer Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/27/11
I would absolutely never stay at this motel! Even, If it was offered to me for free. The person I spoke to over the phone was extremely rude; it told me a lot of what to expect from any service and/or accomodations with this establishment. My Rating: Liken To A Dud Firecracker--"Fizzled Out!"

Great experience! Definitely recommend it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/20/11
The stay was wonderful! Nick, the manager, was very friendly and accomodating. I went up there for a week for business and I would gladly stay there again. While on the outside, the hotel doesn't look extravagent, once you enter the newly remodeled rooms, it blew me away. Very soft sheets, cherry wood in the bathroom, everything very clean and tidy and quiet. While they didn't come and clean everyday, Nick informed me that if I wanted housekeeping to come by and clean and replace the towels, just to hang the sign on my doorknob and she would come by. The shower was clean with warm water, very welcome in January, and the room had a microwave, mini fridge, free wifi, TV and was pet friendly. Plus, when I was walking my dog just outside the room, another person who was staying there brought their dog over to say hi and the two got to play for awhile. Great experience and I would recommend Lions Inn to anyone heading up to Bellingham. Great rate, close to downtown and great service!
