I liked everything about the Hotel. Front Desk Help Was Very Pleasant and Informative. Rooms were cleaned through out my stay, and it was Centrally located in Wells. I will certainly stay there again the next time Im in Wells.
My wife got stranded in Wells with two babies right before Christmas and the service could not have been worse. No compassion whatsoever. Refused to even let her checkout 2 hours late. For such a small town, the people are extremely unplesant.
I love this place, specially the beds!!!. When I come back to Wells to get my car after it gets fixed, I will stay there for a week!!!
The manager, Betty, if she could my big sister, I would be foutunate to know her.
Shabby rooms with old mattresses, not real clean either. The evening desk manager (female) was extremely surly, and the following morning in the lobby the desk manager (male) actually asked us if we could clear out of our rooms because the cleaning staff was paid "by the room." I've never been asked to leave any hotel, especially at 9:00 am!
The room was really nice and smelled fresh. In the morning they have donughts, muffins and coffee to please us. The desk clerk was really nice to us and offered to help us. Her name is Yesy and i think everyone should be like her. I'm definitely going back next year!
This was the WORST place I have ever stayed. There was mold on the ceiling in our bathroom, the mattresses were horrible and extrememly uncomfortable and the room was run down and worn, altho it was clean and the staff was friendly. There is a truck stop across the street so noise was a problem at times. They dont offer soap, shampoo and conditioner seperately but as a foam that does all 3 things which i did not like. We paid 65.00 a night and unfortunately could not find another room and we were stuck here for 2 nights and I felt like it was over priced.
This motel is over priced for what you get. Bedding, curtains and beds were worn and ready and in need of replacement. We were told we couldn't use a side door because our keys might not work because the door needed repairs but they hadn't gotten around to making those repairs. The room was generally clean, but it became apparent that pets had been allowed in the room prior to us staying in it because pet hair accumulated on your socks when you walked around the room without shoes on. It was not the worst place to stay, but for $59 a night you can find much better in town.
