Mouse droppings in the bathroom, sheets and pillow cases were not changed. I have stayed at $40.00 truck stops cleaner than this dump.

The disturbing written comment from 2005 that states someone would never stay at the hotel again belongs as a blemish on the name Fife and Drum, which was the name of this facility for 30 years. In the summer of 2007 this hotel was sold and renovation began. We may not have all the amenities finished yet, but I assure you that this hotel is not the same mess as the Fife and Drum. We offer clean rooms, individual baths, cable, A/C, free local telephone and wireless internet. Visit our website at www.delawarehudsonhotel.com. Don't be fooled by old critiques from 2005. As we kept the same phone number and the address is still the same, the old comments show up under our new name. We are not the old Fife & Drum, we appreciate our customers and offer polite service. Room was very nice and clean, check in was easy and fast. In the middle of nowhere great place to relax. Nice area to stay for the night and go driving for the day. See if you can get on the historic train ride.
