Awful!

This place is disgusting and dirty. The carpet was stained and dirty and it left our feet dirty just from walking on it for a few minutes. We had to buy Lysol and spray the place down. We would have left that place right away if it weren't a holiday weekend and the whole town was booked. The office staff is rude and more then once I had to wait for over ten minutes before someone would help me. The place is infested with bugs too. One night when we walked into the room, we counted 14 spiders on the wall...and that was just the ones we could see. AND to top all of this off, my husband and toddler ended up with staph infections. We were charged $460 for 4 days when we were quoted $53 per night. This place is a total joke and needs to be burned to the ground. DO NOT STAY HERE!

worst motel i have ever stayed at

Mouse droppings in the bathroom, sheets and pillow cases were not changed. I have stayed at $40.00 truck stops cleaner than this dump.

Very nice place to stay

Room was very nice and clean, check in was easy and fast. In the middle of nowhere great place to relax. Nice area to stay for the night and go driving for the day. See if you can get on the historic train ride.

Never stay there again

The outside area reeked of something awful. The morning we left trash and filth were left outside by one of the night guests. This place needs a wrecking ball. I don't see how you classed it as number 2 place to stay in Honesdale.
