Red Tree Inn, North Myrtle Beach

My family and I spend a week there at the end of July. Overall we have a very good time. The area of the beach is nice. We spend most of our time at the beach or in the pool which was pristine. The property is older but our room was clean, and ever thing worked. We thought the price was reasonable for an ocean front hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We would definitely consider return next year.

nasty furniture and uncleaned refrig. beds so uncomify could not sleep. was not worth it. people yelling and very drunk. dirty pool. stinky smell. burns in linen on beds.

Only thing to like was the view. the room was terrible.It was out dated.The beds were barely over a twin size,one good for one person.the bathroom had caulking everywhere.there were holes in the ceiling that had been patched up like someone had a peep hole there at one time. the tv would come on in the middle of the night for no reason.No clock or hair dryer and the worsed of all the stove or refrigerator DIDN'T work!!! The room smelled. It was a terrible place to stay which I had booked somewhere else. the towels felt like sand paper.

I disliked that the carpets were mildewy, our door didnt lock and another guest actually walked in on us changing b/c it wouldnt lock. Man at the front desk was very creepy and said weird things to us. I was afraid to let my bottom touch the toilet seat. It was a dump! was supposed to be a romantic trip for my fiance recently returned from iraq and I, and i could have gotten a much better room for that price.

I STAYED HERE BACK IN 2007, THE MAN AT THE DESK SMELLED OF RUM THE ROOM HAD DEAD ROACHES ON THE FLOOR AND A LIVE ONE ON THE BED!! IT WAS NASTY.

i like staying there the service was great and the rooms where nice and clean. all rooms are oceanfront and the rates where cheap. but the motel was great to stay at and i will stay there again

Our family has stayed there for 8 years. The rooms are clean, the staff is great and it's small for a quiet vacation. Couldn't ask for more. The price is great too!! The staff will remember you year to year.

We actually loved the view and the location was fantastic! It was convenient to everything. The weather was perfect.There was convenient and available staff that were helpful in making our trip perfect. We almost didn't have to drive to our destinations.I did not have any dislikes.

My parents reserved this place for the week of the fourth of July. They only stayed one night- they had no choice but to stay that night since there were no other hotels available because of the holiday. The place was filthy. My parents never complain so this place had to be bad. When dad was brushing his teeth, water was running onto the floor from out of the botton of the sink. They would not refund the money for the one night's stay. They had hair in the shower, the fridge was rusted. This was the most horrible experience ever. They did not even get a vacation this year. Since they could not get another room, they just called off vacation and came home.

Stayed at the Red Tree Inn for a week in August of 2006. The place was great ! The staff was super-friendly, the whole hotel was nice and clean, the view was magnificent, and, the value was unsurpassed. I knew I wasn't in some corporate chain -- the atmosphere was so pleasantly different from what you would expect from a chain. It is a family-owned hotel, and, you almost feel like part of the family while you're there. They did everything they could to make my stay as pleasant as possible, and, they succeeded ! I will return there every summer, and won't even consider staying anywhere else.
