Beautiful area, accommodation lacks cleanliness

My sister-in-law and my brother, making the reservation from Munich/Germany via the internet, were thrilled to have found an accommodation at such a lovely ranch located at foot of the La Salle Mountains, close to Moab and not too far the Arches National Park. The Ranch is nicely kept - that is to say the grasslands; the swimming pool is nice and clean. It is quiet there and the perfect place to relax and watch the horses, after a strenuous day of sightseeing. As much as we were impressed by the surrounding area, we were disappointed, to say the least, about the accommodation. We stayed at the Farm House cabin. The refridgerator was dirty, the stove and oven were covered with grease; the gas stove did not ignite automatically; a coffee filter with coffee grounds was still in the coffee maker; dishes and cutlery were not clean; there was a broken bottle neck besides one of the trash cans; a used Q-tip next to one of the easy chairs; dust balls under the beds; bath mat and towels were stained and showed their wear and tear; the blinds in the bedrooms could not be opened. There are no laundry facilities on the premises. The price is much too high in relation to what is offered - half price would have been justified.
As beautiful as our stay could have been - the above deficiencies put a damper on the enjoyment.
