Saint Simons Inn by the Lighthouse, St Simons Island

The inn is charming, each room is differently and well appointed. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel is in walking distance of the shops and restaurants in the Village and across the street from the ocean.

We stayed at the Lighthouse Inn, in Nov 2010. We stayed two nights and when I got home I checked my credit card and saw that I was billed for three(3) nights. I called the Inn and they wanted to blam the Credit Card Company. I called the Credit Card Company and they wanted to blam the Inn. It took me three days to finally get it off the card. The Credit Card company took care of it, the Lighthouse Inn kept giving me the run around. I am rating it poor because of the overcharge.

location is awsome, right across from the light house and near the village, everything in walking distance

I have stayed here every time I've visited St. Simons - it is in the perfect location where there is enough privacy from the Square but close enough to walk wherever you want to go. My husband and I even stayed there on our honeymoon after we were married on the beach just a few feet away! The people who run it are extremely nice, the accomodations are comfortable, and the price is cheap for being so close to the beach/pier/square area - what more could you want? I would not consider staying anywhere else as long as the Inn is still standing! Wish I could go more often!

my son and i come here every year... we love it... we fish at the pier for 7 days... very good fishing!!!!! He is 15 and just loves this place... safe, family oriented...great people!!!! AAA

I Have been staying here for years. This hotel has a perfect pool area, close to great restaurants, a short walk to the beach, and the historic lighthouse. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly.
