Stratton Inn, Princeton

Recently stayed at the Stratton Inn princeton Ky PARKWAY,EXIT 12 & HWY 91 N. I really enjoyed my stay there. cheking is really easy very pleasant front desk attendants that were very polite and very helpful. They suggested some great restaurants in the area to us and we really appreciated it. The lobby is very nice and clean and pleasant. When checking into my room I found it to be very clean and looked to be newly renovated. I had a room with a king size bed, a sofa. The bathroom was also very clean and had a nice shower and nice sink area with granite counter tops.I really enjoyed the and it was incredibly comfortable, I definitely had a hard time getting out of bed each morning since it was so comfortable! Also the shower was great since the shower that felt great after a long day of work. The manager would come around and ask people how their stay was so far and would even take your plates for you when you were done. It's so nice to see a manager that is so involved and wants to make sure that the guests are having a good stay! All of the employees were very very helpful whenever we had a question and had great attitudes! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. :)

My family stayed here as we were attending a wedding in town. The room was filthy and full of mosquitos. The double lights that hung on the wall between the two beds was broken and not fixed during our entire stay even though we complained the first half hour that we were there. So we didn't have hardly any light in the main room. We asked to switch rooms and were told none were available even though the couple of nights we were there there were empty rooms on both sides of us. We were suppose to be in rooms together with the rest of the wedding guests but instead we were scattered all over the complex. The continental breakfast is a joke. It involves two kinds of cereal and a pitcher of milk left out who knows how long. One of the persons working the front desk was a foreigner whom none of us could understand and he could not understand us. He tried to tell us breakfast was over even though according to the note in our room we still had a half hour. We absolutely will not ever stay here again. People beware.

My sister and I stayed here. What an experience. The room was musty smelling.It was cold outside so we tried the heater and it didn't have any knobs on it. So I called the front desk after a hour someone finally showed up. He looked at it and said if we get cold in the night he would move us to another room. He was of no help. Now who wants to change rooms in the middle of the night. So my sister and I thought about the heater problem and decided to fix the problem ourselves with the hole in a car key. So if you stay here be sure you have tools to fix the heater and air conditioner and bring air freshner. The only reason we stayed was because we were attending a band competion right down the road. If you don't have to stay in that area go down the road about 10 miles.

Very clean and nice place. Would definitely stay there again.

Made reservations over phone. When arrived we were charged more than quoted because our 14 year old was an "adult". We stay at a lot of motels and have never been charged extra for a 14 year old. I wouldn't mind paying the extra if they had anything to offer. The room was clean but the overpriced. Next time in area will stay elsewhere!

The room was clean but needed to be updated. We felt the price was a little to high ($59.00) for the quality of the room. We've stayed in better hotels for the price. If your looking for a place to sleep with no extras, this is the place.
