I'd rather sleep at the Airport
The young man checking us in was polite, but the other two in the back room were rude and lazy. They didn't want to go refill the coke machines outside because the machines were empty and ate our money.
The room was filthy. The sheets had not been changed. After our experience with the two rude lazy guys we didn't even attempt to complain. We slept with our jackets on top of the bed. We didn't bother to sleep under the sheets.
The room was suppose to be smoke free. However there was a cigarette stuck in the fan and burn marks all over the end tables.
I had to wonder how often the carpet had been puked on by drunks. The chairs were awful; stained and threadbare. The cleanest thing in that room was the microwave.
The room was freezing. The window air conditioner was left uncovered. As a result, the cold wind blew right in.
Upon mentioning this to the person when checking out, he replied with a smart butt remark of well what can we do? We can't help which way the wind is blowing!
Bottom line, if our flight out the next day had been cancelled, I would have slept on the floor at the airport. It's much cleaner and warmer by 100%.
