Fireside Inn, Pine Mountain

We slept very well in room 18, King size bed and kids on Futon. The kids loved playing Fooseball downstairs. The room was clean and comfortable and the temperature control (digital) worked great. Bring your own shampoo, etc. Owners were really nice, and came promptly when called from check in desk phone. I liked that it was walking distance from Main street shops (perfect for christmas shopping) and that a couple of great restaurants were walking distance too. No shady characters around, felt very safe even with 2 young kids. Did not use the pool since it is wintertime. We plan to stay again next time we come into town! THANK YOU fireside Inn!!

I am very sorry for some of the problems anyone experianced, however my husband and I have worked hard to give everyone a safe place to stay plus clean. Considering 8 months ago I would not have stayed here myself, from the activity going on around here, plus the dirty rooms. So, as far as the Remotes if you have problems when you arrive lets us know, there's a phone on the desk for your access to call us anytime! But, do remember we are a Family Ran Hotel, with a 10year old child so our time is valuable as well as our guest & their time with non-interuptions through out the night into the wee hours of 2am - 5am, Youngsters's wanting to get rooms, causing us to become sleep deprived, so yes we do pull two shifts 1st & 3rd. The new people were nice when you can find them to talk to. We have stayed at this motel a lot over the years but it has become a place not as safe as it was. Seems to be some shady dealings going on. The rooms are clean.

It is very hard to talk to someone to book a room by a phone or by person. In room two weeks ago TV remote wood not work. This time did not even have a TV remote in the room and no alarm clock. I stay in this inn at least 20 days a year and never had this problem.

The motel is an older building but is very clean and the service was GREAT!! We had a very memorable Mother's Day weekend. My sister, her husband and their 3 small kids and my husband and I with our 2 kids took my parents to Callaway Gardens for Mother's Day. We also went to Butt's Mill Farm which is also very family friendly. Greg and Sara, the new caretakers of the motel are very good people. They also helped with area dining and attraction discounts. Will definately stay again and recommend to EVERYONE!!

For anyone on a budget this is the best place to stay. The manager , Bill, takes alot of pride in his job and it shows. It is only minutes from Callaway Gardens and the restaurant across the street serves breakfast all day . At tge Inn the room was very comfortable and clean , the bed and linens great, the air conditioning really cold and the pool in perfect condition . We had a great stay and plan to go back in a few weeks. Thanks Bill for a wonderful first experience. See you soon.

From the moment we walked in we felt completely at home and comfortable. The owner was very nice and helpful with a great personalilty..He had taken the time to put together a book for each room detailing local restaraunts,menus,and direction,etc..This is a welcome change from the large Hotel chains...It was just down the road from our destination also..I will plan to stay here again when we plan our next trip there....
