Horrible Management/ Terrible Service
The location to the highway is the only plus about this hotel. The rooms are average and the breakfast is very plain. The worst thing about this hotel is the management. I reserved and paid more for a downstairs King room but upon arrival they told me all downstairs Kings were taken. I showed them my confirmation and the desk told me the earliest they could do something was the next day. After business meetings the next day, I returned to the hotel and they front desk told me she had switched me to another room downstairs. I waited for her to make my key when the owner of the hotel told me that I had to wait until the next day to get my room b/c "housekeeping had gone home" and he had to make sure my old room was clean so that he could rent it out. I told him that I was not in the room the whole day and was away on business and that the housekeeper was probably all done cleaning my room. He was not hearing this and told me "no, that will not due. The earliest you can have a downstairs room is tomorrow." I was visibly upset and started arguing with him when he looked at me and said "I'm only trying to help you." If he truly wanted to help, he would have refunded me my extra fee for a downstairs room and put me in the downstairs room like the front desk person was going to do. I was fed up and told him "you know what, I'll just stay upstairs" IN THE MOST SARCASTIC voice and turned around and left. He didn't try to stop me or anything and in the morning I checked out early. I went to the Quality Inn stayed there for my rest of my business trip. Hot made to order breakfast and free cocktails at night. And it's the same price as the Comfort Inn. The service at the Quality Inn is 100X better than the Comfort Inn too!
