Topaz Lake Lodge looks like hard times have hit there

We stayed at the Topaz Lake Lodge for several nights. We were disappointed how rundown the place was.
We had a large room and a beautiful view of the lake but the window looked like it hadn't been washed in years. The beds were O.K. but the carpeting was badly stained.
There were several lights in the room but all had such low wattage bulbs in them that it was almost impossible to read after dark.
The T.V. had a small screen with limited channels. The Weather Channel wasn't available there; the channel travelers need the most.
The help was friendly and very helpful at check-in and the waitress was pleasant in the restaurant. We had one meal there and it was good and fairly priced.
The room we were in needs to be refurbished.
The bathroom sink was plastic and stained and cracked. We were in a no smoking room but one of the bedspreads had two burn holes in it. The holes had hand sewed on patches over them which we thought was strange, certainly looked tacky.
I would not recommend this place for the elderly or handicapped as it is built on a slope and there are many steps and uneven places in the parking lot and sidewalks. The section we stayed in was 3 stories with no elevator.
