Very Pleased!

We had a nice visit. Clean rooms, great staff and a fantastic breakfast. Quiet and would give them a handshake.

Good accommodations!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/28/09
My husband and I stayed three nights and found the room clean, bed very comfortable and quiet. The shower had good pressure. However, the showerhead is quite low so if you're tall it may be a challenge to rinse your hair. All staff were very friendly and were helpful The breakfast was very good with many choices from fruit salad, bagels, toast, waffles, muffins/donuts and good coffee! The hotel is very close to the shopping area and we will stay there again.

Great Place - we will be back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/8/09
We used the hotel for the park n fly. Great shuttle service, awesome rates, clean rooms, excellent continental breakfast, and super friendly staff. If your looking for an affordable place to stay, central to shopping, or the airport, this is the best deal going. This was our first of many stays at this hotel.

Don't forget anything here
By Julie, 8/29/08
Don't not forget anything at this place you'll never get it back. Even when you call and they tell you they have it. I was told by the GENERAL MANAGER it was my fault and I should not have left anything in the room. VERY,VERY RUDE on trying to get my articals back VERY UNPROFESSIONAL THEY VERY MUCH HAD A BACK WOODS ATTITUDE. Family member had to go retreive my stuff. Also watch out their rates are for TWO people only so if you have kids you are nickle and dimed to death. I would not reccommend this place to an enemy............

Run Down
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/9/08
Great Location but old and run down. No alarm clocks, bad decor and really bad beds. Very expensive for what it was. Paid 79.00 for a 35.00 dollar room. Breakfast was far from perfect

The Staff are Wonderful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/28/07
My family and I decided to stay at the Bangor Motor Inn because many of the local hotels were completely booked. The first night we stayed we realized we had made a good choice. We have gone back on several occasions and are planning a new years stay at the Bangor Motor Inn. The staff are polite and very "down to earth", they are not snobbish nor rude. The rooms we have stayed in are always clean and the staff have accomodated our many needs.

Don't worry about Jimmy!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/26/07
Having stayed one night at the Bangor Motor Inn, we now agree with Debbie Rix who said "Please give this locatiion a chance...you won't be disappointed." We made a reservation months ago, on the recommendation of the American Cruise Lines, to spend one night there before embarking on a cruise. Later I read the story about the snake in the lobby and almost changed my mind! However, Debbie's recommendation reassured me, and during our stay Jimmy the snake stayed curled up under his log in his covered aquarium, and we probably wouldn't have noticed he was there, were it not for the reports on your site. Overall, we give the motel a good rating - had to cross a busy road to get to the nearest restaurant, and the van driver who met us at the airport got there late (but there was a tie-up on the interstate), and she gave us a friendly tour of pleasant residential areas of Bangor on the way to the motel, avoiding the problems. The room was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast fine. We'd go there again.

Last Resort in Bangor
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/24/07
Great location, close to shopping and restaurants. Parking was a problem, as their parking lot was under construction. (but yet receptionist told us to park by door #7, even though it was blocked off) Receptionist was unproffessional, and rude Room - way over priced, i paid $92 for a $20 room, the room was dirty, hair on bathroom floor, smelled like dirty cat litter, no alarm clock and small tv's, door stuck, and not to mention my smoke detector hanging from the ceiling If security is an issue - do not stay here, as they say your room # out load and outside doors to the hallways do not lock. Will never stay here again - and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!!

Plain but good
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/23/07
We were visiting the area from the UK. Our stay at the Bangor Motor Inn was for three nights and it was one of the cheapest hotels we stayed in. The rooms were very clean and adequate. The hotel staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. The Bangor Mall is nearby with several options for restaurants, be sure to choose one before 9pm as most seem to close early. For basic accommodation with clean rooms and friendly staff this is a good place to stay.
