Very beautiful inn!
By Nox, 12/14/10
After reading a whole bunch of two star reviews, I was prepared for the worst but it was a very beautiful hotel, small and quaint, super clean! The only downside was that the wireless wasnt free and that there were only some local channels but the inn was very clean, we were never disturbed, the non-smoking room we stayed in was very clean, the management was very nice and the complimentary breakfast (a muffin and juice) was very tasty. I loved it very much and will definitly choose it again in the future. 4.5/5.

hookers
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/15/10
First, the rooms were only half-assed clean, we stayed for a week and every night we were woke by partiers, or hookers-pimps and johns fighting, or dope dealers. will never stay there again, will not recommend to ANYONE.

Cheaper Than Parking in San Francisco
By Dennis M., 6/7/10
The Good Nite Inn Sacramento is very basic (air conditioning, a telephone, a TV, no coffee maker, no hair dryer). The facing away from Howe Ave. are quieter but you can't park in front of your unit. But as a value for your money, it's spectacular. I've paid more for one day of parking in San Francisco near Union Square ($40) than I did at the Good Nite Inn. And the Good Nite Inn is much more confortable than sleeping in the back seat of my car!

Loved it
By KJ, 9/1/09
My friend and I stayed at this hotel one night for the SacAnime convention, and I was very impressed. At first I was a bit wary about booking the room, because of the complaints about noise and cleanliness and the horrible service, but I was pleasantly surprised. The two queen bed room was clean, quiet, had a nice sized television.. and even a fridge and microwave! It smelled nice, and was quiet all night. Yes, there are train tracks nearby (I read a review complaining about the noise), but it’s quite far away and not bothersome at all. The shower is hot and clean, with plenty of towels. Pillows were slightly lumpy and too firm for my taste, but perfect for my friend so I won’t complain. ;) Continental breakfast was small, but good since many times cheaper hotels don’t offer it. Orange juice, coffee, muffins, and pastries were available. The lady at the desk was very kind and helpful, giving us several locations and pamphlets for Chinese delivery when we requested for info. The food was fast, affordable, and excellent. Seriously, we opened the boxes and the food was still literally sizzling. Anyways… she also helped us find a store for batteries and directions to several places. There is a beautiful park not far up the road from the hotel, and is in a good area. The hotel sent us several e-mails confirming the times, and even an itinerary with a weather report and helpful information. All in all, a great hotel and I’d definitely return again. :) The only annoying thing is that it’s on a one way street, with a cement median. However it’s not an issue to go around the block to get out.

Not a chance of return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/11/09
The room seemed fine at first... until we later discovered a condom under our bed. Soon after, we found that our matress was crawling with bedbugs in the middle of the night. Once we found these, we immediately switched rooms. Because we switched rooms in the middle of the night, my friend had left her swimsuit. She had made 4 or 5 trips to the office to try to retain it, but the office employees were very unhelpful. She was finally able to speak to the manager after a month after our stay. Unfortunately, he was rude and unwilling to work with us at all. Terrible service and very unclean rooms

BED BUGS!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/23/09
When we arrived the room looked okay; your typical motel room. Unfortunately, 3 days later my husband was covered in huge, angry, itchy bites. While laying on the bed that morning, I found and caught a live bedbug crawling across one of the motel's pillows. I proceeded to tear the bed apart and found a dead bed bug between the mattress and the box springs, which I also saved. The manager took the bugs and put us in another room. Suffice it to say, we didn't get into the bed in the new room and slept in our clothes. We left a day early because of this problem and when speaking with the manager, we were given a coupon for a 2-night free stay at this establishment. Like we'd really want to stay there again-- YEECH!! Well... now we've moved in to our new Sacramento residence and guess what????-- the bed bugs came with us. My husband and I are both covered in bites now and my husband has had an allergic reaction to the bites. It has been a nightmare! I wouldn't recommend this motel to my worst enemy. It's been 2 weeks and we are still fighting this problem in our new home. New bites, panic attacks in the middle of the night, and I'm ready to shave my head-- my hair is very long and if a hair tickles me I get soooo creeped out I can't stand it. I don't care how reasonable their rates are-- it IS NOT worth it. It's a TOTAL NIGHTMARE. And to top it off-- we never got the microwave or refrigerator we asked for, which really is small potatoes compared to this horror we're dealing with. Also during our stay, 7 police cars, including a K-9 unit, showed up at this motel to raid a room. Too bad the police didn't take the bed bugs into custody. What is going on in this place??? This could be a Rob Zombie horror flick or a really sick joke. Well... gotta go.... I'm just too itchy to write any more. Final word-- BEWARE.

Not The Best
By ., 8/28/07
Nice, Friendly Staff, Poor Clientelle. Right off the Freeway, Noisy at times. Alot of problems with functioning products, such as phone, television, clock. Not the the best place to stay with kids, although it did have a nice pool.

Not a good stay for us.
By William G, 5/18/07
From the moment that we got there all was wrong. We were supposed to have a smoking room, but there weren't any, so we ended up in a non smoking room. The tv remote didn't work. The room smelled very bad. Access to the hotel is only from the North, as there is a concrete section in the middle of the road making it impossible to turn in from the South. There was noise, and drugs most of the night there. By noise I mean that doors were slamming and we could hear talking outside of our door, and the walls are paper thin so we heard our share of fornication next door on all 4 nights that we were there. By drugs, I mean that my wife and I got a contact buzz just from the smell when walking outside the room. No wonder the hotel next door is gated and razorwired.
