Circle Inn Motel, Riverside

My band stayed there and this place was awesome! The guy at the front was really nice to us all (which is rare on the road)! The rooms were clean, it was right next to the freeway and we got a good swim in the pool before we left. One of the best motels we've ever stopped in! AND $55 A NIGHT?! You can't beat that!

When I tried to make a reservation, they wouldn't even pick up the phone. I had to call, literally, for hours to get set up. The place needs an upgrade/facelift, and it's a little tatty around the edges. It is a great deal for cheapskates like me, though, and it's near the freeway and also my destination. If only the staff cared about their guests a little more!

The hotel room needs upgrading in the bathroom. There are no clocks in the room so you have to ask the hotel clerk for a wakeup call. The hotel is situated a sufficient distance away from the freeway so that you can get a good solid nights sleep. The frig in the room is nice so you can store some cold drinks overnight. The price quoted on this site is not the price I received for the room. The room was higher and they don't give any sort of discounted rates.
