Ebury Hotel, Canterbury

We stayed in the Ebury Hotel Self-catering Cottages, they were great! We stayed for one week, you have to stay from a Saturday to a Saturday, it is close by the wonderfully historic city of Canterbury, we had come to trace our ancestors, we also viewed Leeds, Dover, and Walmer Castles, so much history on your doorstep. Amenities were good, garden, pool, parking, shops; we even got to see some cricket (boring version of baseball) at the Canterbury Oval. We stayed in Salisbury York Cambridge Rye, but this was our fav.

We liked everything from the facilities to the friendly staff. We would recommend this hotel to anyone going to visit Canterbury. It is 10 minutes' walk into the centre, but after the lovely cooked breakfast, this is perhaps a good idea! Ask for a room overlooking the beautiful garden.
