Timisoara Hotel, Timisoara

I was at this so called "hotel Timisoara", which is meant to be 4 stars in the summer of 2009. I mean the parcusul of 9 days while I lived in this "hotel" Every morning I wake up at 6 to beat the walls for the hotel is renovated. There is such a renovation with clients in hotel, especially as charged 70 euros per night. I left with a very bad impression about this hotel especially as every day complained to reception noise, chief of there every time I turn my back plus employees morning at breakfast buffet is served from what clients do not think it's safe . And at the end of our stay they said that car parking should be paid and 50 euros for 9 days.

The hotel is situated in the center of everything , walking distance to best places in town : musem of banat , roses park , cinemas and lots of fancy shops , opera house, and two big cathedrals

I loved the location, exactly in the center of the town, it couldn't get any better than that. Nice people, clean rooms and I've noticed that they recently renovated. You should try it!

Timisoara is situated in the west side of the country, near the border to Hungary and it's the capital of the region called Banat. Timisoara is also important as the third largest city in Romania, with a population of more than 400,000 people. Timisora passed through many phazes of construction and development during the centuries.The 18th century fortress was completely rebuilt after the war of 1716, during wich most of the city and the castle were destroyed.The reconstruction was organized rigorously following planes designed for a larger area, with two central squares were the administrative and cultural buildings were placed, one of wich is the Baroque palace built as the government headquarters in 1754. If you want to know more about the history of Timisoara, you can visit the Museun of Banat, wich is one of the oldest museums in Romania. During spiring and summer Timisora shows how the city acquired the nickname "the City of Flowers".You will agree with us by visiting at least one of the eight parks of the city. In the center of Timisoara you'll visit the Mitropolitan Cathedral, one of the biggest in Romania, and also 7 other churches belonging to different religions and cultures. Timisora is also known for it's good Universities, and for it's students, beeing one of the biggest university centers in Romania. There are a lot of interesting things and places in Timisoara. got a �100 special offer rate for three nights (weekend) but had to fight to get it, as originally booked for the regular rate at around �45 per room (single) per night. discovered the special offer only later in the hotel website, and finally gotten. email writing seems not the hotel 1st occupation, therefore often had to wait long time before confirmation. initially -despite what promised in the confirmation email- offered room without A/C, but after complaining got one with. buffet breakfast good in terms of quantity more than in terms of quality. service so-so, from acceptable (restaurant) to coldish (reception), but also friendly at times (room maid). very central unbeatable location. recommended if you don't mind 70-80's architecture and a slightly post-soviet style customer service.
