Why Spend More?

Moorea is really one of the most beautiful of the islands, and Kaveka is right on the mouth of Cook's Bay.
The owner himself is right on the property all the time and is friendly and helpful. He makes a daily run to the store and is happy to take you along or drop you off on his way.
The hotel's beach isn't very big, but it's raked first thing every morning and great for just lazing. For snorkeling, just jump off the end of the hotel's pier and cruise the edge of the reef.
We found the food at the restaurant so good that we bought a meal plan and ate dinner right there almost every night. The poisson cru was to die for. (Btw, the hamburger for lunch was one of the best I've had in years! And the fries are unbelievable!!....in Tahiti of all places..)
For night life, you'll have to hit the local clubs, but that's ok. You're not paying a premium to subsidize entertainment.
Overall, Kaveka isn't the fanciest hotel by far, but it's by far the best value, and if I go back, Kaveka is my choice!!
Greg, wishing you and your staff all the best!

oh...and did I mention that Kaveka's beach is where the girl crew members from the cruise ships come and hang?
