Poor Service No Kids
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/22/11
Brought family of five to enjoy the Pub experience. We were relegated to an empty back dining room & waitress refused to relocate us when we requested seating in the half empty main pub dining area. Should have left then! The nachos arrived as a fused cold inedible on top and soggy on the bottom. The waitress disappeared until diner was brought then refused to remove the nachos from the check. Not impressed. Apparently they believe teenagers should not be seen or heard!

Terrible Service.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/26/11
I went to the Woodstock Inn for a dinner with my family, and I would have been satisfied had it been in the least bit professional. Not only did the waiter know little to nothing about the menu, but when I returned my brie stuffed chick twice (due to the meat being RAW), I was given no compensation nor was I given my meal after it was supposedly being cooked again. If you're looking for food that LOOKS good, go to the Woodstock Inn. If you're looking for SAFE and EDIBLE food, I wouldn't suggest going within a five mile radius of that restaurant.

Food was good but service was lacking
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/8/10
I won't complain about the food, because the food was good. I will complain though about the service. I went with my son and my boyfriend, we were waited on and the food was brought out by another server. Our server who was male never came back to the table to check on us to see if we needed refills or to see if anything was alright, My son waited ten minutes for him to finally return with his drink and when he went to refill mine he gave me water, when I had ordered a sprite. I also didn't get bread that was suppose to come with the meal, and when I looked at the other tables everyone had bread except us. If serving is your lively hood then I would think that you would try to wait on your table instead of handing it off to someone else, and then expecting to get a good tip.

Beautiful place to stay.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/14/10
My husband and I have stayed at the Inn on several times during this past 12 mos. All rooms are beautiful, comfortable and make you want to return again. The breakfasts are unbelievable and all of the staff at this establishment are wonderful to deal with. We love you and please keep up the good work. See you next week!

Great Place to visit!
By jerome, 11/2/08
We spent 2 nights during halloween of 2008 there and it was great. We stayed in the Sawyer house in the Tuckerman suite and coudnt have ask for a better place! It was fantastic located on the second floor all to our self, the place had good size and was cozy. The only negative we could find with it was that even though we had a queen size bed in the suite the bed itself could have been better. Other than that it was great. The service and staff fantastic as well as the envirerment. We will definetly go back again and highly recommend it to others!

Fun each and every week!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/23/08
With 1/2 price appetizers everyday from 3-5 at the Woodstock Station bar and the new $9.99 dining room specials the management has found even new ways to entice hungry patrons looking for large portions and delicious food in this busy place. One may eat in the outdoor perennial gardens during summers with an ambiance that can only be found here. They brew the finest ales & beers I ever tasted and have a 60" plasma h.d. tv in the main bar and smaller one in the brewery bar. Ask for the "Cask Wassail" (only if you delight in strong ale!) when in season. It's a very bustling, busy place, that you just might need to wait patiently for a dinner table. You'll receive great ale, great food, great selection, large portions, very reasonable prices for the entrees, 1/2 price appetizers 3-5, smiling faces on the very attentive waitresses, and a Magic Sunday Brunch (in season) with more than 30 selections to choose from for a mere $13.95. I love their brunch of prime rib, lasagna, salmon, salad, fruits, heavenly desserts, and much more with the chef preparing custom made omelets as you watch. I enjoy everything about this wonderful place so much I visit several times each week. Try it once and you'll feel like I do! -894

Heavenly Getaway
By Beth, 3/10/08
This place is wonderful. The service is truly fantastic. Every employee we encountered went out of their way to make us feel at ease and welcome. The room (Tuckerman) was beautiful. It was just the 2 of us, but it would have been completely comfortable with our 2 kids on the pullout in the spacious livingroom. The decorations in the room were very nice- it did not feel like a hotel in the least. The breakfast that was included was spectacular! They seat you and right away bring you a basket of warm cinnamon buns and a fresh hot carrafe of Seattles Best coffee, while you are given time to choose from an enormous and diverse breakfast menu. The on-site bar/brewery the woodstock station was charming and fun, with a live band that was very good! The beer that they brew right there was excellent! Overall I would rate it as my best experiance in the area. I would love to stay here again!

the station, not just a place it is my place
By georgi, 3/4/08
The Woodstock inn Station is one of the most amazing and capturing your mind restaurants, and clubs in all of New England, that i have visited. With it's professional and fast service and perfect combination of a interior, exterior architecture, garden, which is typical for the region, and cosmopolitan food, prepared in the best strict and delicious at the same time way, it is providing you to spend a grate time in the surrounding of an old time America and the beautiful White Mountains. In the Brew Pub you will gonna have a grate opportunity to try some of the many types of Beers, made in the house, which can satisfy even the most sophisticated lovers of the bitter drink. so if you come i am promising you that you will not gonna regret and even you will be exited for the next visit. P.S. thats what has happened with me. Georgi from Bulgaria

Every detail covered, and filet mingon for breakfast!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/28/06
I stayed at the Woodstock Inn (Riverside house) this weekend and it was amazing. Every detail was covered. The room had antique furniture, a canopy bed, a view of the river, a spotless bathroom, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, and a breakfast to die for. I heard "breakfast included" and thought "cereal and toast". Little did I know, "breakfast included" means "order anything you want for free from the gourmet restaurant's breakfast menu". I had eggs benedict with FILET MINGON for breakfast that first morning. The location is also adorable. It is right off the Kancamangus highway, which has the prettiest views of the mountains and the best hiking trails. North Woodstock is a tiny little town, straight out of an Americana painting, complete with a cute coffee shop and other little shops to check out once you come back from your mountain explorations. The room wasn't gigantic, but it covered all the bases and the queen sized bed, 2 chairs, tv, and 2 dressers was more than enough for a couple. I cannot speak for the rooms with 2 beds. The ambiance was great, with a player piano in the lobby and old pictures on the wall. This DID NOT feel like a hotel - it felt like you were staying at a comfy old victorian house. I am more than pleased and I found the price to be right, especially considering the fantastic breakfast !

Best Around
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/12/06
The Woodstock Inn and Brewery is not just the best restaurant and inn in the north country, but could very well rival the best anywhere. Great bands on the weekend only supplement their fantastic food and service. any naysayers about the woodstock inn must be thinking about the wrong place. Small, dark rooms? yah right. our room was beautiful set atop the riverside building with a loft overlooking the white mountains. we had to drag our kids out of there!!!! be back ASAP. Keep up the Good work, ill be thinking about you guys over a growler of that awesome pigs ear.
