This truly is a mixed review. First let me state that the service we received from Duke and his staff was very helpful. We had planned on staying 3 nights at one location, (Hale Popolana), but 5 minutes in there made us want to scream into the night.It was filthy and everything was run down and dirty. Flying bugs, and gheckos everywhere. It was not what we had anticipated. Early the next morning we contacted Duke and made him aware of our plight, (which he seemed quite surprised about). He did work with us an offered us another 2 bdrm that was not oceanfront, but we decided to look at. Now, this property was what we had wanted and expected. "Kauamanu Cottage" This property was without a doubt full of high marks and praise.The marks above are based on this one property. One felt that they had actually stepped back in time and nothing but beauty surrounded one, although it had modern conveniences at a touch. Unfortunately, this property is no longer offered by this company. So, please make sure that you are getting what you want, and what you are paying for.I am sure that they have some lovely properties to offer, just make sure that they know what your needs are ahead of time.
