Varsity Motel, Cameron

The motel is best in town and it has the most resonable rate with clean rooms. The management is very good, and they have remodel the whole motel, and centerally located in town.

I THINK THAT THIS A VERY NICE AND WELL MAINTAIN MOTEL THE HAVE REMODELED ALL THE ROOMS AND LOOKS NICE NOW. THE FRONT DESK MANAGEMENT IS VERY NICE I HAVE STAYED THERE MANY TIMES BUT NEVER HAD PROBLEMS LIKE THIS PERSON WHO MADE THIS KIND OF COMMETS.

This is not a well kept motel. In fact, upon entering my room; the first thing you realize is that the door does not close fully. The carpet has not been maintained, and as a result not a fit place to be walking barefoot. The bedsheets had a strong odor of tap water, and not the typical scent of lingering bleach or detergent. The bathroom had exactly 2 towels and no washcloths. I called the front desk and asked for an extra set of wash cloths but the attendant refused to acknowledge me in english. I booked ahead for 5 nights, but after the second night I decided this was not a safe nor clean place. I asked for a refund on my remaining days. I was denied a refund, and further more I was denied a receipt of my stay. The owner/management refused me a receipt. On top of that they charged an extra $10/day after i checked out. SHADY and dishonest management! I threatened to sue, and the owner all of a sudden decided to pretend he doesn't understand english! Never come back to this place if you can. Horrible management, dishonest business practice, which is actually illegal.

This place reminds me of the old rode-side motels we used to stay on family vacations back in the early 70's. The location is fair, however the Motel is directly across the street from a rather large truck-stop. Nostalgia aside, the rooms were very old, but fairly clean. The staff was friendly enough, and everything else was just sufficient. Varsity now faces some stiff competition from the new hotel down the road. We will not be staying at the Varsity again until they upgrade their property (if that ever happens).

The Varsity Inn motel is a really good Hotel in Cameron, Tx. The Management take's care of their guest as you are staying at home and with very convienent location with restaurant on the side and truck stop accross the motel. Really nice place to stay.

The Varsity Motel is an extremely run down motel. There was no blanket on the beds, the bottom sheet didn't even cover the mattress and the sheets were wrinkled like they had been slept in before. The bathroom was filthy. The staff was polite but we decided to drive home (3 hours) rather than sleep there.

This is my 30th visit and the motel has High speed internet wireless and hardcore, coffee maker, hair dryer. The motel has really good professional management and really good staff. The Motel is expanding for a breakfast area in office which is really good and I am really looking forward for my next visit. Really good motel and quite atmosphere.

Everything is fine but sometimes we have to wait for the rooms to be cleaned. We come here every August for our Family Reunion and like the newer side.

I think my experience staying at Varsity Inn Motel was great and I had really good time. The motel had upgraded and has in room wireless high speed internet and also has coffeemaker, hair dryer,Refegrator/ microwave and excellent staff management. The rooms was clean and the motel is the best I have ever stayed as a customer. The rates are really reasonable and when you stay at hotel like this some else were the price for the room is high.

My experience with staying at this place was excellent. This was my 20th trip at this place now they have high speed internet, coffee maker, hair dryer, and most of the amanities in the room with very great management, and very nice clean room. The management is really good with the staff they have is really friendly people and they will take care of their guest.
