Quality Inn Gulfport, Gulfport

I LIKED NOTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE! the lady who checked us in was extremely slow! While I was talking to her, she answered the phone. I work in the hotel industry and completely understand, but it was rude of her to do and not say excuse me or something to that effect. When i entered the room, i was disappointed. Everything is outdated and DUSTY! The room smelled old and some other odor I couldnt quite place due to the AC. It looked as if they tried painting over peeling wallpaper. How gross! I spent as less time in the shower as possible. Around the tube was really nasty. The paint job was really bad; there was paint everywhere in both the bathroom and room itself. I felt nasty after staying the weekend and couldn't wait to checkout. At checkout, it took about 20 minutes and I was the second person in line. Again, it was the same woman from two nights before. she was extremely rude to another gst who informed me how nasty his room was also (hair in the sink among other things). she never greeted me and once again walked to the OTHER END OF THE DESK TO ANSWER THE PHONE without asking me to hold on or anything along that line! Very rude! glad to finally leave that place. Only thing I cant comment on is the breakfast; didn't go down for it. spend your money elsewhere!

Very nice people. The room service was great. This is a very good place for family traveling. Shopping, Casinos, Airport right at your fingertips. The price is very reasonable. Nothing like making you feel at home. Can,t wait to go back. May notbe the Hilton, but it,s clean and you can,t beat the friendly family hospitality.
