Yellowstone Village Inn, Gardiner

This was our first trip to Yellowstone, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. The room was great, large frige, plenty of room & always clean (and we were in a reg room, not a suite.) Staff was always friendly and helpful. We were here for a week and loved everyday. We were only minutes from the north enterance to the park. Plus Gardiner is the center for many fun activities and good restaurants. We talked to many people over the course of a week and compared rooms/rates and know that Village Inn is a gem. We'll be back.

I have never experianced anything like my stay at this hotel this summer, I woudl warn anyone to never go there. There are many other options in the area. This place is really shady. The staff is really rude and will do anythign they can to take your money. DO NOT STAY HERE

I found this hotel on this yahoo site, as we are planning a trip to Yellowstone this summer and the lady was so rude when I called. I ask her if the price was $47.00 a night and she had a fit. She was so rude and told me to go to the Super 8 across the street if I wanted something cheaper. I have never been talked to so rude in my life. I would stay here if my life depended on it. As far as the price I was just calling to find out I have never been to Yellowstone and didn't know the hotels. Like I said I wouldn't even think about staying here.

We stayed here for 2 nights while touring the Yellowstone N.P. It is a great base for this but the local restraunts cost an arm and a leg. The hotel was very reasonable and the breakfast was average. The people were very friendly and helpful. The pool was small and old. This hotel does have a beautiful view of the mountains. We may stay here again.

We had a great stay at the Village Inn. The staff was helpful and nice when we checked in. It was clean and quiet. The rooms felt like bedrooms at a friend's house. There were elk in the lawn when we checked in. We will stay there next time we visit.
