Eagles Ridge Resort, Pigeon Forge

everything was great i don't care about the other reviews, we will be back every year for Christmas. cabins were easy to find. love it our pet ANGEL loved it too we hated to leave.

I had booked this cabin as part of my daughter's 16th birthday weekend getaway for her and some of her friends. This was our first time staying at Eagles Ridge Resort and I was thoroughly impressed with the cabin I had picked out for the weekend. I had booked Cabin #88 Mountain Magic and it was plenty big enough for the group I had with me, which I had a group of 8 with me. The cabin's decor was beautiful with bear figurene's all over the place, which I loved. The cabin was really clean and you could smell the cleaniness of the cabin once you walked through the front door of the cabin. The setup of the cabin was awesome because with having a total of 6 teenaged girls they had the liberty of having their own privacy downstairs with a bedroom, bathroom, and plus the gameroom all in one area along with a back deck if they wanted to sit outside and sit. The area the cabin was located was very nice and quite. We had good, quite neighbors on both sides of us. You couldn't have asked for a better weekend stay at this cabin. I wished I could have had more time at this cabin but with it being my daughter's belated birthday present it was all about her. Another thing, the owner's of this cabin are Alabama fans and I would have loved to switched out their stuff with Tennessee memorabilia during our stay. Oh well, maybe their blood will convert over to TN orange instead of AL red. All in all, if I have a chance to come back, I would choose this cabin again. We all had a great time!

The cabin was amazing- had everything we needed. Clean and great location! Had a little problem with a date mix up, but they fixed it quickly & made it BETTER! Friendly people- hated to leave. cabin #81 is WAY better then what it shows online- it truly is a "Piece of Heaven" Thanks!

We stayed over the weekend in #839. Fireplace wouldn't work automatically. Took numerous attempts manually to get started, and this was after maintenance came and tried to repair it. Cable TV not working; maintenance said it was defective box. Area rug in living room extremely dirty as was floor. Stove in kitchen in need of replacement. Lighting in all rooms extremely poor.

We have stayed at this resort since 2004. We have always loved staying here but, the over the past two years the cabins have become rundown or need to be updated. Our last stay was in cabin 261. It was very cold at night and the bottom half would not get warm. We had to close all the vents on the top floor and remove the vent covers on the bottom to get any heat. I called the office and they sent a maintaince man. He only changed a filter in the unit. Of course this did nothing to fix the problem. So the people on the top floor had to roast at 82 degrees so the bottom would have a little heat. Also, the foot board on one of the beds was broken along with the hot tub cover. My son was able to get the hot tub working and it finally heat up. It is very upsetting to plan a vacation with all your children and grandchildren and not be satisfied with your accomodations. We have stayed at many of the cabins and have had some kind of problem the past three stays. I wished they would upgrade the older cabins and or at least try to maintain them much better. I know they have new cabins at the North location but the location is not as good. It takes to long to get into town.

We stayed for 3 nights in one bedroom cabin 17 and I will not stay there again,The cabin was dirty and dusty, the only chair in the cabin was a broken recliner that had a big hole in the side of it, The king bed in the loft was old and broken down and the sheets did not fit, the towels were like sand paper.

we were in cabin 263 its was called the weekend get away.... First off the cabin had bugs i got bite marks from some kind of insect all over me... They called the exterminator he came in and he said that the bed had chiggers in it he was a nice guy he was trying to kill them while we was there.. We went in and showed the lady at the officed they never apologized for anything the lady said we need to fill out a incident report... I had to go to the hospital and get checked out it was so bad.... The doctor put me on different kind of medicines and a cream... I we took the report back down there and all they said was we can movie you from one cabin to another the man also said that the exterminator and he said the only bug there was a asia ants and thats not what he had told us.. I rented the cabin for a week i was here on my honeymoon couldnt get in hot tub or jauazzi. It was misereable time..

We have rented from Eagles Ridge several times with different cabin/condos and I can honestly say that we have enjoyed each experience with them and are planning on returning in Nov 2010 for a week.

This was our first experience with Eagles Ridge and I can say my family was very pleased. We read the reviews and looked at the pictures on their website assuming that it was an accurate description of the resort. I can say that the cabin we stayed in met the expectations of what the pictures showed. The atmosphere was very peaceful and the cabin itself was very quiet, clean, and felt just like home. We had to drive to the pool, which was a little on the small side but nice. When we first arrived one of the bedrooms had no power to it. We immediately called maintenance and someone came to fix it within the hour. The t.v. in that same room did not work and there was no other t.v. available to replace it. The bedrooms on the lower level experienced small centipedes in the hot tub, but as we were told in advance, you are in the mountains. Other than those couple inconveniences - we enjoyed our stay very much and can't wait till we can go back.
