I was driving up the 101 with no plans in mind and found myself at the Hopland Inn. I stayed for two days and felt that after three years of living in California I had finally found the real deal. The inn is lovely, the staff are warm and friendly and the locals are delightful. I would definitely make this a destination anytime you are going to wine country.

Perfectly wonderful!

Sean and Tara have done everything imaginable to make your stay in Hopland memorable. (Rumor has it that wine tasting is free in these parts)! The Inn itself is wonderfully restored and updated. The bar is magnificent--there are lots of stories about what has gone on here, and there are many new stories waiting to be told. Thanks Sean, for the complimentary after-dinner glasses of wine. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed meeting Julie, the assistant chef. We hope to return soon!
