Awesome Resort!! WE LOVED IT!!! FABULOUS!!!
By ,
Probably the BEST Resort I've ever vacationed at. THE MOST AWESOME ARCHITECTURE!! It is built into the side of a mountain adn the main hotel is a "curve" on the beach with a HUGE "window" arch so when you are standing in the lobby, you can see THROUGH the hotel building to the ocean. Great food (expensive, but 5 star dining always is!)... they have a little deli/grocery store if you want cheap! Rent a car... the airport is 14 miles away. It is located on the corridor, half way between San jose del Cabo (International Hotel is here) and Cabo San Lucas, so if you want to go anywhere having a car is the least expensive and most convenient. All the BEST hotels are on the corridor. Ignore the guy who said to stay at the mediocre Marina Fiesta ... it is in the heart of the party district on the marina (i.e. no sleep! fand lots of drunks on the sidewalks at night! plus fishy smells!) If you want classy, quiet, NICE accommodations, this is IT! We were there for Christmas and NewYears ... lots of people, but the beach was fine ... it's a huge beach! walk a little farther and you'll find LOTS of private areas...the next hotel is over a mile away! (not like Cancun where they are stacked on top of each other!

Great Property
By ,
I have been to Cabo many times before. Usually with my friends to party. If you are going to Cabo to party stay at the Fiesta Marina, you are walking distance to the Office and Mango Deck for day time and walking distance to the Clubs at night. I wasn't in Cabo to party when I stayed at the Westin, I actually was there to get Married. The location was perfect for my beach wedding. The hotel was extremely helpful in making everything happen. My room was very nice, best room I have had in Mexico. Bed was great which is rare in Mexico. Great view from the room. I thought the main pool was gross and could use a redo. But overall the Hotel is very pretty. Eating at the Westin will cost you an arm and a leg and the food is just average (even adjusted for nothing tastes the same in Mexico). We ate breakfast there, but went in to town for all other meals. If you have never been to Cabo before, staying anywhere in the corridor, rent a car if you are going to leave the hotel, it will be cheaper in the long run.

Restaurant on premises

Prices on Chilean wines ( Merlo, Errazuriz) US $ 70.00 a glass, Outrageous,Bottle US $ 40.00.Restaurant La Cascada.Granted the bottom line is to make Money, but, too much is too much.I am not blaming the waiters or Captain, but whoever is in charge of pricing is out of his rocket.

Amazing!
By ,
Wow . . . this place is great. From the minute we got off the bus in the lobby, we were blown away by how beautiful the hotel is and how attentive the staff is. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view is spectacular. Within 10 minutes of getting in to the room we saw a whale out in the ocean. How cool is that? The food is great (be sure to try the quesadilla at La Playa) and the service impeccable. I had an ocean view massage, and it was well worth the price. True, you can't swim in the ocean here, but the pools are clean, and there are several adults only pools if you just want to float. The concierge was very helpful in finding us things to do, and Robert the golf pro was awesome and completely helpful. We can't wait to go back!

Only O.K. for the money
By ,
My wife and I stayed in the Club Regina at the Westin Cabo San Lucas and it was only O.K. in our opinion. The service was wonderful and the rooms were nice, but the food was a little expensive, you can't swim in the ocean at all (and I consider myself to be a very good swimmer, but even I got swept out after only a few waves), and there were a fair number of small children. For the amount of money it cost, we probably will not go back.

LOVED this resort!!!
By ,
Beautiful views, attentive staff, terrific restaurants... I can't say enough about this place! If you like sushi, make sure to have dinner at the sushi bar up on the cliff (can't remember the name, but the food is phenomenal)! The infinity pool with bar was a big hit with the wife and I - not too crowded, with a perfect view of the ocean and private beach.

Westin Regina - Time Share
By ,
The place is beautiful! Lots of walking up and down the hill if you are in the time shares. Awesome view, nice pools! Down sides: The surf is rough, the hotel food is expensive (but very good) and the taxi ride to either town (Cabo San Lucas or San Jose de Cabo) is expensive. Not so bad if you are in the time share and trying to eat in your room, but a drag if you want to enjoy the night life of the town. Very peaceful place and very beautiful.

I loved it!!!!
By ,
The Westin was a little far from Cabos San Lucas so we ended up taking a lot of taxis. My friends and I were very pleased with the service and the food....I wish it was all-inclusive but other than that...it is a great place to stay.....

Absolute Best Place to Stay in Cabo
By ,
The second you drive up, you will think you've gone straight to heaven. It is SUCH a beautiful hotel and its backdrop is like no other! The mountains - just magnificent. The ocean is definitely a little rough, but the pools there are honestly phenomenal! That's where we spent most of our time. We've been to almost every destination in Mexico and Cabo is one of our favorites for sure. And if we were to go back, the Westin is where we would stay. The rooms are really clean, the beds are unbelievably comfortable! And if you opt to go on one of those Regina tours (the timeshares) you can really negotiate a lot of free stuff! It paid for all of our rides into Cabo San Lucas, some meals, etc. It was well worth the 2 hours we spent looking at the timeshares - saved us a lot of money! Also, the Westin is located in a remote area which was perfect. Getting to town wasn't that far, and staying at the Westin was worth being a little removed for...would go back in a heartbeat! Definitely a great hotel and I would highly recommend it!

A Relaxing Trip
By ,
The trip was relaxing, but the horel needs a lot of repair in and outside. It has a very hot feeling compaired to the other resorts in the area. THe food is just o.k. and the drinks are very watered down. I am in no rush to retunr, but we had fun and everyone was nice to us. The price was right for us.
