Holiday Inn Exsts Benntonville, Bentonville

I was in charge of reserving rooms for several of our faculty who were attending a workshop in Rogers. Holiday Inn Express had a competitive rate so I called to book rooms. After I had given my personal credit card number for holding the rooms, I learned that the hotel did not direct bill, nor did they accept a school check for room charges. I was unable to arrange use of the school credit card and so did not return the CC authorization form to Diane the Reservation Clerk. I thought the matter was closed but found out differently when I checked my credit card account and found myself billed for four rooms. "Sorry, our policy is that you reserve, you pay..." I don't agree that I reserved the rooms because the arrangements were not completed. It has been an expensive lesson for me and I will never plan a stay at this hotel.
