Serene getaway I'd book again!

Let me clarify, my stay was for a long weekend and I was travelling by myself. I did not get the impression it was geared for families. It was serene and quiet nearly all the time.. . a great place to sit poolside and catch up on a good book. This resort's location was convenient and in walking distance to just about everything, (beach, many stores & restaurants, grocery stores, and even malls). I walked to the beach daily, and it was a safe and pleasant walk. If you want to cut about 1/4 mile off the walk, drive down to the community tennis courts and park for free and walk from there. The free breakfast was truly the most complete I've ever experienced with everything from homemade waffles, to oatmeal, to fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, pastries, muffins, bagels, fresh coffee, juice, hard boiled eggs, etc. It was a meal to start the day off well. I spent evenings cozied up on my lakeview balcony eating dinner and watching the sunset with a terrific view. Being alone, I found a small "bistro" in the plaza directly across the street with incredible homemade soups, salads, and entrees - great for a more gourmet takeout. If you are looking to just get away and truly relax in a very quiet, picturesque setting . . . I would highly recommend the Inn At Pelican Bay.
