Unprofessional and Rude
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/9/11
I signed a contract to book rooms for my wedding, which is a month away from today. They charged my future mother-in-law for 9 rooms she booked and then told her they gave them away to another wedding which they booked the same weekend. They gave away other rooms to this othr wedding and allowed them to book the rest of the hotel and gave them our bridal suite, which was part of the contract. They are TERRIBLE and are UNPROFESSIONAL. One month out and I had to find another hotel for all my guests to stay at, including myself since it is a destination wedding!!!!!!!! Not only that, they are not refunding anyone that wants to cancel their reservation and book in the new hotel.

Beware Don't Stay
By Robert L., 8/26/10
The Service is terrible. The GM Steve Dorsey was very rude and not professional at all. We went to Naples for our Anniversary with another couple. They did not inform us that they will hold $300 from our debit card for amenities, which comes directly out of your checking account. They could have stated that if you use a credit card not a debit card there is no hold. Spoke to the GM Steve Dorsey all he did was blamed the bank and stated that DEBIT IS CASH. WOW!! As if I didn't know that. The issue was not informing your guess you have that practice or policy. The lights went out on the floor and totally in my room as well as the room next to me. I called no one come up to assess the situation or offer another room. I had to make that request. Finally, after 1 1/2 hours of inconvenience the lights came on while packing to go into another room. A Missed reservation at Truluck's and the only thing offered to us was a complimentary Drink. WE DON'T DRINK!!!

Serene getaway I'd book again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/10/10
Let me clarify, my stay was for a long weekend and I was travelling by myself. I did not get the impression it was geared for families. It was serene and quiet nearly all the time.. . a great place to sit poolside and catch up on a good book. This resort's location was convenient and in walking distance to just about everything, (beach, many stores & restaurants, grocery stores, and even malls). I walked to the beach daily, and it was a safe and pleasant walk. If you want to cut about 1/4 mile off the walk, drive down to the community tennis courts and park for free and walk from there. The free breakfast was truly the most complete I've ever experienced with everything from homemade waffles, to oatmeal, to fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, pastries, muffins, bagels, fresh coffee, juice, hard boiled eggs, etc. It was a meal to start the day off well. I spent evenings cozied up on my lakeview balcony eating dinner and watching the sunset with a terrific view. Being alone, I found a small "bistro" in the plaza directly across the street with incredible homemade soups, salads, and entrees - great for a more gourmet takeout. If you are looking to just get away and truly relax in a very quiet, picturesque setting . . . I would highly recommend the Inn At Pelican Bay.

4th of July
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/11/09
I loved this place. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Lots of local restaurants and only 15 minutes from Downtown Naples. I took my first vacation alone and had a great time with all of the activities available. The beach is a short walk away and parking is a bit expensive but the hotel is a great value. Only thing I did not like was the tiny pool.

Excellent value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/22/09
We normally stay on the beach in Naples (Edgewater) and just happened to "stumble" across this hotel on "hotels.com". We loved it! The hotel is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and offers unbeatable value for Naples. Breakfast is included in rate and the beach is walking distance (I am a "walker" and I would say it's about a mile)...but for those who aren't walkers, it's a very short drive to the public beach (just down the street). One can rent lounge chairs on the beach for $5/day. I visited in early February and am going back in April.

We'd stay here again!
By MichiganChix, 5/14/08
We went for a girlfriend getaway -- the hotel was in a convenient area for shopping, dining, ice cream, etc. We always had a fresh supply of towels, soaps, etc. each day. The landscaping was beautiful, but the pool could have used a few more chaise lounges. The bathroom vanity area was a little small -- but hey, we're women ... we need a lot of room! Computers were available at no charge, which proved to be convenient when printing boarding passes. Our overall stay was fabulous -- we'll probably be back!

Middle of nowhere
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/21/07
Hotel was very clean and the rooms are great but it's more than a walk to the beach, there are presious few good resturants nearby, for the complimentary continental breakfast you share a small room with every tradesman in the area, and the elevators (only two)are deathly slow.

Very Pleasing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/10/06
We were in town for one night and stumbled upon the Inn. It is newly renovated with a wonderful lobby, bar, and breakfast area. It's very warm and cozy. The style is Vinetian style. The rooms are very spacious and the bed is fantastic...soooo comfy. The Penthouse Suites are only about $15 more. They offer a larger bathroom with jacuzzi bathtubs and walk in showers. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We are planning a return trip. The location is wonderful.
