Days Inn Moab, Moab

I arrived at this hotel to find it was a rathole. This is by far the worst possible condition a hotel could be in. I requested a refund at the counter and they refused. I went down the street and got a room. They still charged my card and I disputed it with AMEX with no luck. DON'T BOOK A ROOM!

I found bed bugs. I ended up waking up at 2 am with a creature running across my arm. I woke up pulled the covers off, and the bed was infested! I have pictures, video. Wish I could put them on line for you to see. I slept in the car from 2am to 7 am. Bogus. Do not stay at a Days Inn. Never again for me.

Holy Cow! This place is a disaster! AC didn't work (for a room on the second floor). The room was not clean. The fridge bearly worked. The hotel staff quoted the wrong rate and day staff were very unfriendly. The only good thing is the the mattress was relatively new and comfortable. There have to be better places along the strip east away from the Arches National Park. Keep driving, please ...

Stayed on a business trip. Was charged differently than quoted when making reservation. When we mentioned this, owner became very agitated and accused us of ripping him off! Very grouchy! Rooms were clean. Pool was clean. Window and curtain were stuck shut but other than that no problems with room. Couldn't get my wireless to connect so I called the front desk. The man said the provider was having problems and it had been down for a few days and wouldn't be fixed for a few days (suspicious) but I could access wireless in the lobby. This wasn't mentioned when I checked in. I find that completely unacceptable. It is close enough to walk to cute main street Moab but there are a lot of other options were the amenities might actually be as advertised.

The room was dirty, the door would not lock the front desk would give service, please do not stay here if you value your health and safety of your family and friends. removed my wife and daughter from hotel and found lodging at Hampton inn would not give refund

We had a microwave, a coffeemaker a fridge and a TV in our room. The room and the bathroom had signs of recent renovation efforts although carpeting most likely remembers the times when the West was settled. The smell in our room was very intense. Wall air conditioner was working OK. Free continental breakfast is acceptable. Swimming pool is under construction/renovation. Hot tub was available. Hand written note (signed with a name) on the night stand served as a reminder to leave tips. Towels, shampoo and soap were changed daily. Hotel manager and front desk employees were accommodating but not friendly (actually close to being rude) and they were not eager to help (with one exception of a young lady working the front desk). This hotel would be a bearable place to stay if not for the plumbing which makes noise imitating Niagara Falls with severe hiccups. Our next door neighbors were using their bathroom (showering?) till 2:00 AM and started again around 5:00 AM, for three nights in a row! At least once we felt uneasy in a crowded breakfast room where some transactions were made/paid for in cash (conversations were not in English, so we have no idea what it was about). Unless you are used to sleeping with good quality ear plugs and/or noise does not bother you, stay away from this hotel! There are other hotels in Moab! If money is a deciding factor, you'll be better off camping. This hotel was our worst experience in years. We stayed in Days Inn motels in the past with a fairly good experience, but from now on we will think twice before booking a room in Days Inn.

Be careful, after you stay in this arm pit of a motel, make sure you check your credit card statements. What we signed for and what we actually got charged were quite different, Sneaky! This place was a pit, the hot tub was so dirty and disgusting, we could not consider using it. The bathroom connected to the hot tub was even worse. The pool was not open, I guess it was so full of lawn furniture nobody could swim in it? The lighting in the hallway mercifully was not working very well, so we could not see how dirty the floor and walls were. The breakfast.... well fresh fruit means mushy gross fruit, and knowing how dirty the rest of the motel is, it is hard to eat anything at all that has been placed out. Drive by this motel, Days Inn should be ashamed to have thier name on it. If you booked a room, cancel it, even if it costs you a cancelation fee.

My friend and I were just passing through on our way to Arches and Canyonlands and so we just needed a place to sleep. The room was average. Seemed clean. Our A/C sounded like a washing machine, but other than that the room was ample for sleeping and showering. The price seemed 'ok', because they advertised a pool. But the pool was 'under construction' (aka. a mess). We payed about $89 for the night, but if I had to stay in Moab, UT again I would do more research and find a little bit nicer place. Moab is a nice little town. We also went to Community Church of Moab and that was very nice too. Nice folks.

We stayed there for two nights and it was quite a bad experience. We felt bad and compassionate for other people that stayed there.The hotel was dirty with terrible hot tub and the pool was closed because someone broke the fence and it didn't look like the managment had any intentions to fix it. I will never stay there again!!!!

This motel was a good value for the price. It's conveniently located within walking distance of shopping and restaurants and made a good base for our daily excursions. At first look, the common areas are a bit dirty, but our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and immediately took care of a key problem we had. If you are looking for a less expensive, comfortable place to crash, this is a good choice.
