Rodeway Inn Carlisle, Carlisle

At this price, don't expect the Ritz-Carlton. But, for an excellent price, we got a clean room, two comfortable beds, working A/C and mini-fridge, and a very basic breakfast of store-bought bagels, coffee, and juice. The owner/manager is a nice gentleman, and he and his staff work hard. For a family traveling on a limited budget, this is a good place to stay. Be sure to ask for a room toward the back of the hotel. Some of the rooms are almost right on the road which is a heavily traveled part of the Harrisburg Pike connecting I-76 (PA turnpike) with I-81.

No complaints about the room or service. We stayed two nights. On a busy road so I wouldn't want a room facing the road, but we didn't have a problem. I would definitely stay again. Lots of stores and restaurants close by, but traffic is heavy during rush hour.
