Villa Campestri Resort, Vicchio

Having just returned from my third trip to Villa Campestri I realise how comfortable and familiar the Villa has become and how it is now forever aligned with peaceful reflection. The setting, high above the Mugello hills provides the wonderful views, the sense of rising above it all, and sunsets and sunrises to accent each passing day. The interior exudes the care, love and respect that the owners and restorers brought to their task. The staff, and the family who have brought this historic building to life, treat their guests with respect and consideration in every exchange, whether booking a meal or asking for that special glass of wine. If that is not sufficient (and how could it not be) then there are the delights of Florence, Bologna and Sienna just a drive away and nestled under the Villa Campestri is the wonderful Oleoteca where the world of Olive Oil is just waiting for you to start another journey of exploration and discovery.
