Nice Find

Clean, easy access to the interstate, yet far enough off to avoid traffic noise.
Desk staff was how you would like them all to be, but seldom are. In others words friendly, helpful and understanding.
The location is a bit misleading, it's actually ten miles outside of Grants Pass, but that's a plus for me, because motel row in Grants Pass is overcrowded and tacky. The drive to Grants Pass along the Rogue River Highway is quick and scenic.
Breakfast was quite good and plentiful and a big plus was the effort that went into making their "room directory" -- you know that binder on the desk that tells you what's in town. They actually went to great effort to fill it with good useful information.
It even listed the local "swimming holes" on local creeks and how to get there. Probably my only complaint, and it is minor, is that the swimming pool is really a "cement pond," with little character and did not look very inviting when we visited during a 101-degree stretch of days.
Oh, almost forgot, they have a small gift shop, which I fully expected to be a tacky sort of hodge-podge of junk, but it was actually nice with some quality merchandise.
All-in-all, a terrific find for the region.
